doesn't quite fit right with a warning
I have Wilson and Babolat tennis racquets and this dampener did not quite fit right with either of them.It was very difficult to install it as I had to force it into the strings and it doesn't keep my racquet strings in place straight once I finally somewhat awkwardly got it in place. Please note that the package includes 3 dampener along with a card which indicates that they would send you a free gift IF you leave a review on Amazon.com. I'm guessing many of the positive reviews on this dampener were really motivations to get free gift. tsk tsk.Very disappointed, especially due to the seller's tactic of offering free gift in exchange for the review...THE BOTTOM LINE:Stay away from product. You've been warned...

Vibration Dampeners Should be Heard, Not Seen
Tennis racquet vibration dampeners don’t absorb a significant amount of energy. Primarily, their function is to modulate the typical aggravating tinny “ping” into the basso “pop” of a well-struck ball. The 21K Sports dampener design is utilitarian – not flashy or cute. It satisfies three important criteria:• It’s easily installed – however, it’s critical to ensure that the dampener’s upper slot completely snaps into the bottom set of cross strings.• It produces a satisfying solid pop when the ball strikes the sweet spot.• It stays securely on the racket and doesn’t fly off in the middle of a critical point.

Got Rid of The "Doink" Sound
Love these dampeners. I currently own two rackets. One is very old/heavy (Pro Kennex.....26 years old), the other is new but too light in weight for my liking (Solinco 285). Both rackets could benefit from the use of dampeners for different reasons. These dampeners from 21K Sports did the trick. I'm swinging with more confidence as I'm not anticipating the "doink" sound/vibration anymore. Installing can be tricky.....do the center strings first. After you get the first center string in place, twist the dampener so that it is almost vertical to get the second string in place. The other strings are not as difficult but don't be afraid to twist the dampener from horizontal towards vertical to get the strings in.

They work great on my Head Graphene Radical MP
I've been using these dampeners for about 3-weeks now. They are fantastic. I use them on my Head Graphene Radical MP. They fit nicely on the bottom of the racket face outside of the last cross string. I also use one outside of the last cross string on the top of the racket face. USTA permits multiple devices so long as they are located inside the outside cross strings. The reason I use two is that this particular racket is dead or vibration prone near the top portion of the string bed. I used to use conventional dampeners but they would slide or come off. So far this has not happened with the 21Ksports ones. Note that the outermost portion may occasionally pop off the top string bed. It doesn't effect my play and I just periodically adjust the dampener at the top between points. I'm a 4.0 player and string my racket with 17G poly at 38 lbs. This string combination and tension with the 21Ksports dampeners works great. Very satisfied.

Great dampener that doesn't fly off!
This is the best dampener I've used for 2 reasons:1) Previous round dampeners have flown off repeatedly. This one stays on, although occasionally one end will dislodge and I have to reinsert my racket string (hence the 4-star rating and not 5). Thankfully, that process only takes a couple of seconds vs. the full minute it might take me to find the round dampener and finagle it back into place.2) The actual dampening is markedly sounder than the round dampeners. My hits feel more solid and my arm doesn't hurt anymore, either. For reference, I play with a Yonex eZone XI 98 and place the dampener in the middle below the lowest cross string.

Well Made and Good Looking Product--But Confirm First that they will fit Your Racket
Amazing Customer Service and a Desire to Make Customers Happy!!I purchased this dampener after researching and wanting a "better" solution to racket vibration. My wife and I both have 'older model' Prince rackets and these dampeners didn't fit either of our rackets properly:Prince Airstick B1025Prince O3 SilverI suggest you contact the Mfg. to confirm whether these will fit your racket(s) if you are using a older model racket--8+ years old. Note: I did not do this prior to purchasing. Their customer service is excellent even after the ‘sale.’ This product looks great and appears to be well made—just not a ‘fit’ for us.

Check string pattern
BE AWARE, this dampener is configured for racquets that have 18 main strings, it does NOT fit racquets with 16 main strings (which are at least half the racquets in use today) As I have both types, I'm using them on my "18 main" racquet. Does the job adequately, mostly I bought it because it's design prevents it from flying off the racquet during play, something other dampeners do with annoying frequency. To summarize, good design, works as advertised, just check string configuration before ordering.

Good Dampener, but a little pricey
The vibration dampener works well and looks nice on the racquet, but the price is a little high for how well it works. Also, it'd be nice if they offered a single or double pack, since they force you to overspend and purchase a 3-pack even if you only use one or two racquets.

Pretty good but some concessions ....
Update: ... the "fit" really depends on the racquet. On my Prince racquets these do not fit well. I bought another vibration dampener product (same style but larger) and they fit perfect on the Prince, however, they do not fit that well on a Wilson KZereo that I have. These 21K's fit ok on the Wilson .... so there you go. Depends on the racquet and string spacing.I still feel these are seriously overpriced but searching on the internet confirm that this particular product is expensive. The "other product" I bought were 9 pieces for just over $10 and they work just as well ... IMHO.Original post .... I ordered the pack of 3 multicolor. They look great on the racquet. However they are NOT a great fit. I wonder what racquet they were patterned after? I think it was possibly a squash racquet to be honest not a tennis racquet (although the packaging does say tennis). I am using a Prince TT Sovereign and you really have to stretch them on as they don't line up with the string pattern at all. The ends barely fit into the adjacent strings and often snap out of place, which requires a quick re-adjustment. I'd call it a "nuisance". They do perform well and absorb vibration well. I just wish a) they fit better, and b) they were cheaper. These 3 cost almost $20 ea CDN. Kind of absurd for a few pieces of moulded silicone.
