To be fair, the picture on Amazon is pretty accurate with the patterns and design, but the appearance of quality suggested in the picture is not true in real life.The biggest disappointment is the thickness of the faux leather. Nothing to do with being faux; it's just very thin and the lining inside contains no padding, which arguably, the picture depicts. The outer sole and heel being one continuous piece is strange (not for slippers, but for shoes).After the initial inspection, I didn't bother trying both shoes on, so I can't comment on the comfort or fit - other than it is true about purchasing a full size smaller.I really didn't expect much in $40 shoes, but these are just cheap, cheap cheap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ after several hours they're comfortable. However, after several hours they're comfortable. They are truly a lot larger than a normal size. I wear anywhere between a 10-11, usually 10 for dress shoes due to the thinner socks. So I bought a 9.5 for these and still have room. I could fit into a 9 for this shoe.
