Absolutely love this hose reel! I've purchased twice & will be adding more around the farm. It is so simple to hang up & works excellent. Great quality & the sprayer is really nice. Highly recommend!

Bought this in November 2025 but didn't install it until April 2026. Got in installed(easy straight-forward installation), turned on the water and it was gushing from the unit everywhere from the unit but the hose nozzle. Dang...leaking from inside the unit. Opened it up and discovered a cracked right-angle adapter feeding from the inlet hose to the unit. Emailed support to see if I could purchase a replacement...support replied the next day saying I could send it in or they would send replacement part and I could install myself....at no charge for parts! Great Service Support! Even after so many months. I don't know whether damaged in the box or by me, but kudos to Glahodden! BTW, the hose reel is built very well and I foresee will last a long time.

Purchased this about 2 years ago and it serves its purpose. Retractable feature is very helpful and keeps my backyard tidy. Giving it 4 starts despite the current condition. I did notice this year the hose has degraded and has cracked the entire length. I’m not sure if this was due to the harsher winter, or something else. I’d assume it would hold up better despite weather conditions as it’s an outdoor product. Hoping the hose can be replaced vs the entire unit.

Fantastic.. I can't say enough about this retractable hose. I absolutely love this thing. I got this for Christmas and I couldn't wait. Been using this since the middle of March for about 2 and 1/2 months. I have a pool a garden back porch two big dogs. Needless to say I get this out two three times a day. It reaches all the way around to my front yard with no problem and water pressure is always great. It's easy for me to put away it's easy for the wife to put away and it's easy for the kids to put away. And what a Time Saver. If you don't have one I highly suggest you get one.

We had a shorter expandable hose but the nozzle is not detachable, so we bought this one. It provides a new fresh view of organizing garden tools. The hose can be locked any length we want just by pulling out an inch and let go, and there is a nod in the nozzle end to prevent over shrink and a red mark to the other end to let us know it's about the maximum length. My son loves the different patterns and he is developing to a great garden helper as he finds it so much fun. There is a pushable handle to control the water volumn. The detachable feature is benefitial because we can connect this to his water pool and no need to worry about the location. We have a large lawn and this hose reel is perfectly able to cover all, love it!!!

The hose reels are great. I bought two and stored them away for a very cold New York winter and their birth working great but the hand sprayers are both broken and not working, I tried to reach out to the company through an email and it it keeps kicking back to me and of course impossible to relay all this to Amazon, no live people to talk to.

This retractable water hose has been one of my favorite purchases of the year. It makes watering plants quick and easy, and when you’re done it retracts cleanly, keeping the backyard neat and clutter-free. It also helps keep me dry compared to dragging a traditional hose around. The included sprayer feels a bit cheap, so I ended up upgrading that part, which improved the overall experience. After about two years of use, I’ve noticed some fading on the housing, but it hasn’t affected performance. Overall, the hose system itself works well and has been very convenient. As long as you don’t expect premium accessories out of the box, it’s a solid and practical setup.

Aquí mi resumen: - El producto si llegó a tiempo. - Materiales sin aceptables de acuerdo al precio. - El sistema retráctil de la manguera NO FUNCIONA. Al momento de retraer o enrollar ma manguera no funciona. - Pésima calidad, era el primer uso y no funcionó. Es una lástima que se ofrezcan productos con pésimo control de calidad. Que lleguen bajo pésimas condiciones al usuario y darte cuenta después de haber gastado tiempo en su instalación. NO LES RECOMIENDO COMPRAR ESTE PRODUCTO.

To be honest, buy the Gardena one! That one is much better! (I had Gardena for 9 years and should have replaced with that instead of this POC!)

Worked great for first few times but after about 10-20 uses, it does not retract properly. Meaning, if you have, say 10 feet of the hose out of the reel and you want to retract it, you have to pull out the remaining 90 feet to get the retraction mechanism to work. If you don't already work out with ropes, then consider this your rope workout as it is not easy to pull out 90 feet of hose. Then when the retraction mechanism does work, the reel pulls the hose back in so fast and violently, you need to be careful it doesn't, injury you. We also bought another one of these for our backyard and last time I had to pull out the 100 feet of hose, it retracted with such violence that it ripped the bracket out of the wall and the bracket broke. In addition, the nozzle on that Gladden didnt even last 9 months and it started leaking from all around the entire handle of the nozzle. Don't waste your money on these expensive hoses - buy another brand.
