This was my first time doing a wax seal and was happy to find mini wax sticks for the glue gun I already had. It was easy to use and the quality was as expected from a wax seal. One pack was enough for a bunch of practice tries and 110 wedding invitations with 2 sticks left over. I got the dusty blue sticks and did 2 squeezes of the glue gun per seal. I also bought metallic pens to color some of the lines and the wax worked great with that as well. I would definitely use again!

This is my first experience with wax sealing. I liked the idea of the use of a glue gun. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it worked well enough. I haven't really priced it out, but I felt I was only able to get (4) good impressions out of a mini stick. There may have been some left in the gun, but I also realized the wax was occasionally dripping from the nozzle of the glue gun while I was doing other stuff, so I was losing small amounts of the product. Felt wasteful.Would I try this method again? Personally, no. Why you ask? It's too convenient and fast. This is the type of hobby where I want to savor the experience. Have fun with it. If I'm going to do fancy letters/invites/cards, then enjoy the full gambit. Don't rush. But, if you like a little convenience and fast, then the glue gun experience is for you. Me, I'm liking the spoon method.
