I am very disappointed with this roti maker. It does not work as advertised. I tried every possible method soft dough, loose dough, different flour types but nothing helps. The chapathis turn out hard instead of soft, and they never puff up properly. When they do cook, the results are uneven some parts raw and some parts burnt. Overall, the rotis are not soft, they are difficult to make, and the sticking issue makes it even worse. This product is not reliable for making chapathi, roti, or tortillas, and I cannot recommend it.

I have not been able to get thin desi roti using it. But yes it gives me thick roti using large amount of dough.

Bottom line: If roti is non-negotiable at your dinner table, this is well worth it. Won't fully replace mom's hand-rolled ones, but it comes surprisingly close.

I was excited to try this electric roti maker, but unfortunately it did not work as expected for me. I have made rotis for years and followed the instructions carefully, but after several attempts I was unable to get soft, round, well-cooked rotis. The rotis either remained undercooked in some areas, became too hard, or did not puff up properly. I used the product multiple times thinking it might take some practice, but the results were consistently disappointing. The concept is great and may work for some users, but in my experience it did not save time and actually required more effort than making rotis traditionally. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Update: I was able to get in touch with the company and they were very help and willing to send me a replacement! I did love the roti on this roti maker and my family got used to it! It save so much time and so much less effort compare to traditional roti method! Can't wait for my replacement to come so I can Start making roti again! I would highly recommend it and it's my to go roti maker! InitiaI review: will not recommend it at all! I bought this roti maker and when it arrived it was broken! Eventhough its stainless steel body but very fragile!I ended up requesting a replacement! Reviews were not so great but I wanted to give it a chance! I bought it on Feb 10 and on April 16 it stopped working! Its literally two months! And company policy is that they will not refund if it's over two months! So I missed the deadline by 6days! It really makes me wonder why only two months and it very disappointing that you spent so much money and it last only two months!

I really really wanted it to work. I bought this because I have problems puffing up roti on induction glass cooktop. I saw tons of how-to videos about making the right kind of dough as well as what steps to follow. I was pretty confident about the stickiness of the dough. I couldn't possibly make it more runny. I followed all instructions to T, but unfortunately success rate was really low. I tried few batches and tried with different sizes of balls too. Out of 40+ rotis only 3-4 turned out to be ok. They weren't super good but pretty decent. Rest all were either too thick, or too thin or too raw or too crunchy. Lot of them formed hole while pressing and never puffed up. In short, I absolutely had no confidence as to how the roti would turn out. I had to throw away lot of rotis because they became too stiff to eat. Machine build quality is low. The hinges are bit wobbly. Even after letting it heat for 20 mins, the green led would not light up. Pressing hard is not possible because it starts making weird sound. You can't press multiple times too. So as mentioned in manual you get to press only once. Once you start making rotis, green led would never turn on. I am not sure if that was problem with the unit. I am not going to test more. It's not worth it-- unless you really are ok to eat ANY form of roti. I can't, so I sadly have to go back to manually making the rotis. It must be magic if this thing worked as advertised for anyone.

This was purchased a little over 30 days ago. It worked fine for sometime. And now the roti maker is not heating enough. The video is 3 minutes long and the roti maker was barely heating up and the rotis were not getting done. It is a hassle to reach the manufacturer and Amazon cannot provide any help since it is older than 30 days. Shouldn’t it be Amazon’s responsibility to provide direct contact with the manufacturers or get a response from them if they are offering a product on their website. Very disappointed and it was not a cheap buy as well

The roti maker is easy to use and saves a lot of time in the kitchen. Rotis cook evenly and come out soft, and cleaning is simple. Overall, it works well for daily use. However, after using it many times, sometimes the connection becomes loose and the machine turns off. Apart from this issue, the product is good.

Very good bread maker. The customer service is very supportive. I have had an issue with it after the purchase and when I talked to the customer service they sent me a replacement product immediately.
