Has anyone actually traveled with this bag as a carry-on toiletry bag? Has it worked going through security?

TSA 311 Rule says the bottles cannot exceed 3.4 ounces and the clear bag must not exceed 1 US quart. One US quart is 57.75 cubic inches. Examples of compliant sizes are 2"x4"x7.2" or 1"x6"x9.6". This bag clearly exceeds the TSA rule. Most of the time, the security agents will let you get away with it, but if you experience a high security alert situation or a rigidly doctrinaire agent, this bag may be rejected.

What sorts of lids do the bottles have? Squirt lids, or completely open?

There were bottles with squirt lids, at least 1, maybe 2, spray bottles, and little jars with caps -- nice set for air travel!
