Unlike the weight, feel look etc. the head came loose and fell right off…. The wedge was not glued and it was maybe 1.5” deep. I mean can I cut a bigger slot and make a better wedge and glue it when I re hang it??…..sure. Should I have to do that after the first use? Absolutely not. I would say spend the money on a better quality brand.

The Ace head itself is awesome and cuts through anything it’s just an absolute beast of an axe especially after being Properly Sharpened, the handle is Ashwood so it’s not the strongest but I still treated it with 2 coats of Tung oil to give it the best protection I can since I plan to use it till it breaks then I’ll replace it with a nice American Hickory Handle for better durability and use but for the price you can’t really complain about it as handles are easily replaceable and readily available I have no problem with working with this axe at all

Not to large so you can swing it more quickly than a large axe, but it has some great weight to it, and it is also well balanced. Great price for such a great axe. Love it.
