This was one of the best gifts I could have ever bought. I bought it for my 3 years old. I was worried she’d be too young as It’s a one time experience but all phases of hatching are nicely paced so didn’t miss out on anything. I strongly suggest reading through the leaflet well, as lots of actions to do to help with hatching and play afterwards. It really is a wow toy and does everything advertised. The hatchimal can be played with afterwards with the various actions and sounds it can make. Definitely keep the leaflet for a while afterwards as I forgot some of the functions and what you have to do to trigger them. It quite durable as my toddler has dropped and bashed it around quite abit and battery life is still strong after 2 months. Truly adorable toy for girls and for the price I would definitely recommend.

Fast delivery. These are such fun for all the family. Watching little ones (4 & 6) nurture it from the egg is adorable, then the magic of the arrival, with music colour & movements as it begins to crack the egg & eventually arrive, when at last the colour is revealed & the name is given. Great fun! never seen such a captivating performance from a toy. Our little ones love teaching theirs new words & sayings. The novelty hasn't worn off. Great child's gift:)

Didn’t seem to want to hatch, even though we followed the instructions. However, my niece loved this, and didn’t seem to mind that we had to manually break the shell (was very easy to crack open). The lights and sounds etc made up for that, as she thought it was fun to do.
