How good is this brace

I thought back in April when I bought these I was going to have to put my golden down in the next few days , I paid extra for ASAP delivery , received the braces , after 3 months the velcro started to wear out , I replaced the velcro , she survived 9 months until nov 18 , besides purchase of my golden Lucy I don't know of a better buy than these - these gave me 9 more months with Lucy - what's thats worth
