I've bought several USBC to USBC cables this past week - hoping that one would work to connect a Lenovo laptop to an LG Monitor (for some reason the Display Port connection has stopped working and replacing that cable didn't do anything to fix it. and all the USB C cables failed. The 1m cable supplied with the Lenovo Docking station works but is too short for my workspace. SO I have been looking for a longer one. This one works perfectly - I just plugged it in and all connected immediately! Note that I haven't used it for applications like charging my mobile phone or synchronising data with phone and PC but can see no reason why it won't do a good job there, too. I couldn't find a Lenovo brand cable of the right length but this one is half the price of the short Lenovo. Price wasn't an issue for me - just wanted something to work and reach far enough! Quality seems good. Well packaged - the connectors had plastic covers on them indicating a quality approach. I can't comment on a long time of use, but dont' think that's too important for most people buying cables. If it works it works! So on the first 5 minutes of use I am delighted!

Very very good quality cable . Well worth the money.

Bought to transfer files between my PC and phone. Worked for a while but now no longer reliable and will connect and disconnect frequently till it just doesnt recognise it. Other cables work. However still gets 4 stars as this cable still works for my Lacie hard drive, I've not noticed a speed discrepancy and do trust it to be reliable for that hard drive. Not sure why it no longer works with my phone, but this happens often with cheaper USB c cables it seems.

Having tested my older USBC cables and found them lacking full connectivity, I decided to take a punt on a couple of these. I have to say that I'm very impressed, well as impressed as you can be with a cable. The cable appears to be well made, the ends not only seem sturdy with a metal (aluminium?) outer cover, but they also come with dust caps, which is a nice touch. I've tested the cables use as PD and display and have had no issues. I'm yet to test throughput, but I don't expect to be disappointed there either. All in all I'm very pleased with these cables and will be coming back for more when the need arises. I've added two images to this review, one of them (black ends) is from my previous "go to" cable brand and highlights the difference in connected pins between an alleged 10Gbps USBC cable and these 20Gbps versions.

Packaged very well, even had caps on the connectors and an included cable tie. It's a strong and thick cable that reaches the full rated speed. Works perfectly with my Elgato HD60 S capture card. So if you're looking for a pretty cheap cable that's durable and good value for money to use with a capture card or even just data transfer, this is the cable to get! Couldn't be happier. Might get a few more

Cable supports data transfer and power. Learnt the hard way that not all usb-c cables do both.

Short cable is very short. It does give sizes when u purchase but be aware the short cable "IS SHORT" !!! v Good cable otherwise.
