Picked this bad Larry up on prime day for a great price. Had been wanting an ultra wide for a while and this one hit a good balance of performance and price. I am using it as a primary display for a gaming laptop running a Ryzen 7 and RTX 3070 mobile graphics. It takes a lot of horsepower to render 3440 x 1440 so be aware of that if you have an older GPU but mine keeps up fine for most things. I specifically chose this resolution because 4k would have likely been too much for the system. You will need to enable HDR on the monitor itself. This hung me up for a few minutes as I expected this to be enabled by default and it was not. Once this was resolved though the colors were bright and vibrant and the picture is sharp and crisp. Other than that setup was super easy. Stand goes together with like 4 screws and is very simple to adjust. It is also sleek and feels sturdy. The integrated RGB is a nice touch too. Outside of gaming, this thing is a dream to do work on. Double wide spreadsheets are great. There’s just so much desktop space to lay out all your open windows. Overall very happy with this monitor after the first few weeks. Would recommend to anyone in the market for an ultrawide.

This is a review of the ACER EDA343CUR V3bmiippx 34” monitor. I bought this monitor to replace two 27” flat monitors. My hope was it would be easier to view and use the multiple windows that I keep open at the same time. I am not a gamer so that was not a consideration. I run the refresh rate at 120 Hz and do not use a graphics card. I use the Intel UHD Graphics 750 processor built into my i7-11700K CPU. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision. The display has no dead or stuck pixels. If there is bleed from backlighting, it’s not obvious to me. Color rendition is as good as the Dell monitors that it replaced. There are no problems with blurring or distortion of letters. The 1000R curvature is perfect for my use. The one con I have is the speakers. I wasn’t expecting useful speakers and indeed they are not. Here are my tips on setting things up. 1) Download the driver from the ACER website (https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/ED343CURV/downloads ) 2) use the Microsoft PowerToys Fancy Zones (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/install) to divide your screen. IMO it’s better than the ACER Display Widget. 3) Download the Display Widget (https://www.acer.com/us-en/acer-display-widget) because it’s easier to set up monitor parameters than using the physical joystick built into it. Make sure that the widget does not automatically run when you reboot. For my purposes, I set the resolution to 3440 x 1440 and the text size to 125%. I have only used this monitor for a few weeks so I can’t comment on reliability, but it does come with a 3-year warranty. I paid $229 for it on Prime Day. I see it’s up to $279 today. Costco sells it for $249.

Great budget monitors for ultrawide viewing. I used these for about 3 months before I missed smaller, standard displays, but they are great for the price and look awesome. I had 2 stacked on top of each other to make a battlestation. No flickering, but my 5060ti 8gb was really outmatched by these bad boys. If you can run 3440x1440p, I see no reason why you shouldnt at least try these out.

I waited a full month to give my review so I could have enough time to tinker around with the monitor. Pros: - As a first time owner of a curved monitor, this purchase did not disappoint. The 1000R curve gives an immersive experience, and makes it easy to get lost in whatever you are doing. - This 34” display fits perfectly on my desk, and allows me to push productivity to its limits. Since I use this monitor for work, school, and *light* gaming, having multiple tabs open is a must. I love the new possibilities this monitor brings. - When it comes to graphics, to an untrained eye like mine, I cannot locate any flaws. All photos, videos, and games I’ve encountered have been seamless with no dead pixels or latency. Cons: - This unit only comes with 2 HDMI ports, 1 Display port, and 1 Audio out port. I did not take into account the lack of USB-C and USB ports, and didn’t realize how much of my added accessories needed these. Be mindful - if you are going to use wired mice, keyboards, video cameras, etc. unless you are hooking them directly into whatever desktop you are running, you will need an adapter. - The LED lights were one of the main reasons I leaned toward this monitor over others, however, the lights are too dim to notice. Even flush against the wall, I cannot see a flash of anything to indicate that it is on. - Two words: joystick controller. When it goes to powering on/off my monitor, it will not register my clicks. I have found it difficult to keep shutting down my monitor and fighting to turn it back on, so I just keep it on. This mechanic can be a bit finicky, so I’d rather not tinker with it. Overall: Would I buy this again? Absolutely. For a price point of around $300, I am now able to do more than I ever have. The PiP/PBP mode is something I never thought I would need, but have recently been introduced to. From a productivity perspective, I would purchase this monitor again.

There seems to be a lot of hype around this monitor, I bought it mainly for work as a kitchen designer. At first glance this monitor is impressive. The 34” screen requires a large stand, so be prepared to lose a lot of desk space. (Wall mount if possible) The monitor came neatly packaged and came with a power cable and an HDMI cable, this made setting it up fast and easy. You will need a Philips screw driver to mount the neck and base of the stand together. The stand simply “clicks” into the back. Immediately after turning the monitor on I noticed 2 distinct lines tearing the image in half. Luckily they were towards a corner and since this screen was so large I thought I’d move past it since I won’t see it as much. After messing around with some of the monitors settings to find what works best, the analog stick (to turn it on and off) got stuck. The screen repeatedly turned on and off before I unplugged it. Sadly I was not impressed by the monitor at all. Extremely disappointed in the construction of the settings switch, and the broken screen. I would not recommend buying this monitor.

Please keep in mind: If you want to take advantage of the high refresh rate limit, you will need a display port cable. It took a minute to get used to this monitor. It’s the largest (34”) I’ve had and is my first curved monitor. I quickly got used to it and just have to add a bit more distance. I’m loving the monitor size and curve now. I mainly use this for work. Very good brightness on this monitor and a better resolution especially on text than my last 1080p. I’ve seen some reviews saying the colors are washed out, but I found that adjusting my settings and upping the gamma setting helped a lot with this. The colors are very good. One negative: I’ve had this monitor less than a month, but I already have a dead pixel. I don’t really notice it unless there’s a light color in that area. Otherwise, I don’t notice it.

I've always been an Acer customer, not because of being a loyal fan of Acer, but because i've tried and tested their products and they've been reliable for the past 20+ years of using them. They're not into the most high-end specs as other brands have, in fact they come in simple yet GOOD designs not too tacky unlike other brands. Although this is my first Ultrawide monitor from Acer, so far it's been performing good. Eventhough there was an issue on the first item delivered, as it had a Dead pixel, but they sent in a replacement after reporting the issue, and arrived the next day. The replacement monitor so far runs pretty good, like I said their products aren't always to the Extremes like other brand names, but the product does what it does reliably. Colors to me are vibrant, compared to the Xiaomi I recently purchased which I will be returning. This monitor is fast and no ghosting or smearing while playing games. No flickers whatsoever, and no dead pixel on this one. Again this is my first VA panel and I heard common issues of VA panels, but so far so good. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in purchasing a good descent gaming and all-around monitor. If you're an Enthusiast gamer though, I suggest getting a IPS panel or OLED. This monitor is for Average all-around users who enjoy a good HD monitor with some Graphic design/Programming, Research etc. and occasional gaming done to it. It's a good all-around monitor, and a lot of realestate as well in terms of windows management.

L'écran est génial !!! Bel image, j'aime beaucoup l'incuravtion. Sans difficulté d'adaptation. JE me suis imprégniée direct dans l'écran. Livraison est état. Je suis capable de le mettre 240hz. Pour ce prix c'est un très bel écran à un très bon rapport qualité prix. Le seul hic ce sont les hauts-parleur qui ne sont pas très bon.

Nice monitor at first. Goes up to 180hz (displayport). Colors are good. Easy to assemble. Metal. Joystic for the menu navigation. Monitor differs from pictures - it does not have any usb port. Black smearing is pretty noticeable in the ufo test. Speakers are ok for basic office use. It did start blinking on/off so i returned it.
