Can anyone confirm 7 hours of mp3 streaming & how well are the batteries a year after purchase?

7 hours is correct but you can get more by using a lower volume. I use mine every day under my over ear gaming headset thanks to the low profile of the buds. also they are still awesome after a year of everyday use. I highly recommend them.

Can you use these independently? Cam i use the right and then switch to the left whe the righ battery gets low?

I did a little independent research and as long as you are using the phone both earbuds last paired to, you can use 1 ear bud. If you get a new phone, you need both earbuds to pair them to the new phone. One earbud can not be paired by itself. Hope that helps. Amazing what a little independent research can do for you.
