Well, as was the experience of many others who purchased this item, I couldn't attach the "motor" part to the bottom of the fountain, mainly because the texture was too rough. The fountain texture, that is. So I thought it might be kind of cool to have it float around. It was cool, but the device had this almost unerring instinct to move to the side of the bowl and spray water everywhere but in the fountain. While the flowers at the based like that idea, I would have had to be down there refilling it every hour or so. NOT! So I simply left the spray head(s) off and instead, just have this lovely little bubble moving around. The birds like that on another fountain I have so I thought this might work well. It does. And because the solar panel part is large enough, I've even had the tiny birds land on it. All in all, this has worked out even better than I hoped for.

Opening the package was easy. What I did not like is everything else. Doesn't work in a shallow bird bath. Wont work elevated in a deeper one. Must be steady in order for it to pump properly. I attempted to anchor with a small container in which the suction cups held onto. Had a hard time keeping it level as they said in order for it to pump properly. Got it working once and the water did not spray up high. I tried all of the attachments. One other thing it doesn't charge, it only works if the sun is on it. I am going to try and return it, hopefully I can for a full refund.

Good product but blows all the water out of birdbath no way to stabilize in middle of birdbath

The only thing I Don’t like is that it doesn’t charge or hold a charge once the sun goes down. Stops working if it’s cloudy. Needs direct sun or it’s nothing

Got this for my LARGE bird bath in the front yard. It get direct sun light for at least 7 hours. This thing doesn't work if there is ANY small, minute portion of the base shaded. Including the tips that spray the water. When it does work which is about 1/2 hour per day (with us continuing to fill up the water that it splashes out & changing the placement.This was a disappointment but not worth sending back. I would never recommend this item,.

Came with several different fountain nozzles but most of them shoot so high the water blows out of the birdbath pretty quickly. Still, it works great on the shortest nozzle and both pollinators and birds seem to enjoy it.

Update that I had been meaning to post months ago. This didn’t even last a season. It’s a great idea if you don’t want to convert your birdbath to an electric water pump. However, the technology for these solar water fountains isn’t there yet. This was a complete waste of money.

I used this in my backyard ceramic bird bath. Looks very good and works just like advertised. All I need now are some cute little birds that want a bath
