Excellent for the price! Would recommend.
Overall a solid product. I feel that given the cost for value this is a 5 star product but with some expectations. Pros - a TON of space. The bag itself will hold 5 pillows, two folding beach chairs, several duffel bags no problem. - waterproofing (see below). I waterproof tested the bag on the rack without items sealed and zippered. It was rained on hard (over 3inches of rain) and several lighter rains. This was flat on car so no runoff. With that there was maybe 4oz of water in the thing! See photos. - construction of bag is excellent. Tough straps, great zippers and the mesh is excellent on top. - So far I have not encountered any rust and I just rechecked it after our trip. Cons - Assembly needs a second set of hands but otherwise was straightforward. Basket is not as strong holding items as pricier options. Again value for price is great. - other reviews discuss the prongs that stick out of the bolts (See photos). These did NOT cause issue with bag but something to consider. - Bottom part of attachment is just metal. Would likely scratch so I wrapped electrical tape around them and worked perfect. See photos. Overall this was excellent. I think for the price itโs an amazing buy. My only advice would be if water is an issue (bedding etc) just bag in a trash bag when packing and you are all good. Wrap the bottom bracket to be on safe side.

Worth every penny
I bought the WEIZE 54" x 34" x 6" 200lb Heavy Duty Roof Rack Carrier Basket with Waterproof Bag for a trip from Virginia down to Orange Beach Alabama. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy both the rack and bag are. There were 4 of us each with a weeks worth of clothes and necessities plus beach towels, ect. The bag held everything and still had some room. We drove through rain and thunderstorms nothing got wet. The rack is heavy and very well made. We had no problem putting it together and loading it up. It held up very well for this trip and I believe it will hold up for years to come. Definitely recommend.

Worked well for a long trip in a Kia Telluride
I got the smaller roof basket with bag to go on our Kia Telluride. It worked great going halfway across the country (3 day trip) with little noise and I didn't really notice a lot of fuel usage, though I wasn't tracking that super well. The bag fit a bunch of stuff my daughter was bringing back from college - boxes of books and a bunch of trash bags of clothes, etc. It fit about 5 medium boxes and another 5 bags and could have fit more. We drove through some rain but it kept everything dry. We did move everything into the vehicle at one hotel stop which took a bit of effort - unloading half the stuff, then putting the whole bag into the cargo area of the Telluride after bringing our luggage into the hotel. To strap it down, we used the 2 long straps front to back and the 2 short ones side to side, doubling up in the loops on the corners of the bag. We didn't use the cargo net or other straps. The first issue I had was the clamps that go on the crossbars only have a plastic cushion for the top, but the bottom has the metal clamp directly on the metal crossbar which could damage it so we were careful not to overtighten and everything held up. The other issue is the top of each clamp has a plastic piece that sticks up through the basket bottom so it isn't flat. It pushes up into the bottom of the bag, but didn't tear it. You have to sort of pack around them to prevent problems. The size looked right on the Telluride, not too small or large. When we were done the bag folded up into the included storage bag for next time, and we put the rack on its side in the garage. Initial assembly and installation took about 2 hours, but now it only takes about 15 minutes to put it on or take it off. Be sure to put a cloth under the clamps to protect the roof of the car when installing as it is a little awkward and we dropped parts numerous times. The directions were about 80% complete but we were able to figure it all out without too much trouble. The assembly tool is included to nothing else is needed (other than a cloth). There are some extra parts included too. Seems like decent quality.

Great
Tons of room and felt high quality to me and very easy to mount on top of my Tahoe a bit louder than normal from the wind deflect but I was expecting it so it didn't bother me

Solid construction at a decent price
I bought this at a 44% discount from it's original list price and for good reason but I only found out once I unpackaged the box. The cargo carrier comes in several pieces. The frame on one of the baskets was warped from the factory as you can see by the picture. This of course caused the cross brace holes not to align with the holes from the baskets. I had to drill the holes to make them bigger so the bolts could fit. Once that was done, I did a weight test and the cargo carrier seems solid and sturdy enough to hold it's 500 LBS capacity rating. For the price I paid, it's an excellent value but then again it turned into a bigger DIY project. Hopefully this cargo carrier will pay itself off after 1 or 2 trips I have planned. The included cargo bag, net and (2x) rachet straps is an added bonus.

AMAZING all the way around!!
I wish I had the pictures still because this thing is a BEAST!! I purchased it to relocate almost two thousand miles and it worked great. I used it on my daily driver for 4 months adding another 1000 miles to it while looking for a warehouse to lease and this thing just works. Don't let the weight limits worry you either because I over exceeded this things limitations by three times the amount and it never even flinched lol. I still have it in my warehouse I will definitely be keeping it! Definitely recommend it. Oh before I forget the cargo bag is AMAZING! Seriously did NOT have high expectations for it at ALL but hey it made it through Texas blazing temps all the way to 35 straight days of -12ยฐ in New York lol I will say this if you need anything out of it be prepared to put it in a garage cuz when that thing gets cold the material is SOLID!! Anything under 35ยฐ and you are out of there for accessibility to the contents. But it is ridiculously durable it doesn't leak..again like the basket it just works y'all...

Fantastic product, but might make your trunk hard to access!
This is a great product that offers a fantastic alternative to roof-mounted storage systems, which was necessary for my use with a convertible vehicle. The weatherproof bag it came with works exceptionally well and carries a surprising volume of cargo. It never rattled, and the bag never flapped around during use on a long road trip. The only downsides are that when the bag is full, it may make your trunk difficult to access. On a Jeep Wrangler JT model, for example, the trunk door swings open, and a full bag makes the trunk inaccessible from the outside. This isn't a big deal, since the trunk can still be accessed from the inside, but you should be aware of this minor inconvenience. The other thing I'll mention is that the bag comes with tons of straps, and both when tying the bag down, and when opening the bag while it's in the rack, requires a lot of manipulation of the straps. It's great because everything is very secure. But you should leave anything you want to access easily inside the vehicle, as the bag is a hassle to get into while it's tied down. With these things in mind, I have no real complaints. It does exactly what I want, and the product is a great value for what you get. The extended hitch bar is absolutely essential for keeping the Wrangler's spare tire from interfering with the storage space. This product is exactly what we needed.
