My Neighbor Totoro Sleeping Bag Sofa Bed Twin Bed Double Bed Mattress for Kids

I bought this because moving is stressful and it's cheaper than a guest bed. It's not a guest bed, but that's okay because now I have a giant totoro.Pros: It's a giant totoro that you can sleep on.Cons: I'm not sure I was sent the correct size - it's about the size of a twin bed. The "detachable tail" is a piece of fabric stuffed with bits of cotton that doesn't attach to begin with. It was packaged in a heavy duty plastic bag with a torn up tarp wrapped around it. Not sure what that's about but I suspect it was a return.Other thoughts: I'm a full grown adult with a giant stuffed totoro for a guest bed and I just have to live with that.

We love this giant, squishy Totoro! It's my daughter's favorite and I think it's super comfy as well.

I bought this to use in my reading nook. I added a mattress topper to it to make it more fluffy, as was recommended by other reviewers. The fluff inside would be sufficient for a bed topper though. I’m an adult, 5’5”, and I can lay comfortably on the Totoro. It’s comfier than some of the floor style bed mattresses I have used when traveling. The craftsmanship on the product is great. I love the detail, and everything is well made: the fabric is soft. The little pocket is super comfortable. The pillows are cute too. Overall, I’m really impressed.The absolute only downside is that shipping took forever- it was months late. However, I understand that COVID has deeply affected overseas shipping and the seller answered every question I had through the process. If you do buy this, be prepared to wait a long time. It took about 4 months total.

BEST THING EVER.No, it's not super stuffed with foam. Yes, it's for kids. If you're buying this as an adult, you should put a mattress topper inside of it.If you're an adult and whining about how thin it is, shame on you. This thing is for kids. Built for kids. If you want it to be made for adults, like WE did, then buy a memory foam mattress topper and jam it inside.This thing is like the main attraction of our 'chill out' room. So comfortable, seats so many people.

I've had this for almost a year now, and it is super cute - my baby is now a toddler, and having this on the floor feels much safer than a toddler bed. Plus, she likes it much better than her toddler bed conversion (she crawls out of bed all the time and sleeps on this on the floor instead).I think of it more as a mattress cover than as a bed in and of itself. It is made of a soft, smooth material - so it's a nice mattress cover. There's not a lot of stuffing. The arms, head, and tail have stuffing in them, and the rest is kinda' flat, so I bought a twin size mattress foam and stuffed it inside. Now it is the most comfortable thing ever. The totoro tail is detachable and sticks on with velcro. The claws are some sort of pleather, and take a while to straighten out (it comes all bundled up in a suction-packed bag). There's a nice pocket to sleep in, but I still need a blanket for me and my baby to stay warm.

8yo suddenly started refusing to sleep on his nice bed. He would climb down and make a nest of blankets and pillows on the floor every night. After over a year of this, he asked for a floor bed for Christmas. We got him this one because it had a cute face like many of his favorite stuffed animals, and he adores it! He has it propped up on top of many of his pillows, but that helps make the 'nest' look less cluttered, and gives extra padding. It probably would not be padded enough for most people on its own.

I expected it to be a bit smaller than expected but its way smaller than the photos.I still love it though! I fit on it perfectly from head to toe, im 5'6" and the pocket you slip into only fits up to the bottom of my ribs. It came in a very small package (basically the size of a normal pillow in length) and it came pre-stuffed. It came with two pillows (the tail and a totoro mini pillow). All in All its great but do expect to stuff it more because its not very stuffed. i didnt have anything fancy laying around like memory-foam, so i use two pillow in the top (the face area) and two thick blankets in the body. I really do love this item though it goes perfect with my anime room!!!

It was way better than I thought.. also came with extra stuff.. took a long time to ship, but was totally worth it..
