Best 9.99 ever spent my dogs would not let me trim their nails was going to the veterinary I think it started at about 20.00 per dog x3 was 60 they gradually raised the price to 35 per dog well I saw this sling used on YouTube and looked easy found this one here for 9.99 bucks so far have saved 95.00 dollars gave the dogs treats before I put it on and afterwards high value treats! Right now not more than 5 minutes of being released my dogs are sitting right here with me so that tells me no traumatized puppies also they would fight me before trying to trim their nails now they just hang with absolute no trying to get out or away I hung it on the top rail of the bathtub shower door worked out great I highly recommend trying this method of trimming your dogs nails I have not used the file or clippers provided I used ones that worked well years ago Happy Camper with this Sling

I like it so far but I wish it came with instructions on how to use it.

So I have two Chihuahuas and they are most difficult when it comes to their feet. A couple days back I needed to trim my smallest Chihuahua nails really bad. He is 16 years old, death, and blind. And he fought me like it was the end of the world. He fell out of my lap. He twisted he turned. I actually thought I had hurt him. So I didn’t get one nail clipped I felt so bad. So write them in there. I ordered this sling. Now I have not used it on him, but I used it on my female and she’s about a pound. Maybe two more than my male, she couldn’t move. It took me no time at all to get her nails clipped. I didn’t stress her out as badly as when I try to hold her in my lap and wrapper in a towel. This thing is amazing. I am so glad I spent the money. It works out just fine. It can’t get any easier to use. I absolutely recommend it.

It works… but dog hates it

I PURCHASED THIS SLING FOR AN 8LB CHIHUAHUA WHO IS A BIT SHORT SO THIS SIZE FIT PERFECT. IT IS MADE OUT OF SUPER STURDY SOFT MESH MATERIAL. I DID CHOOSE A SMALLER SIZE SO THE VELCRO AT THE NECK AND BACK WERE A LITTLE SNUG BUT I NEEDED MY DOG TO BE SECURE. THE BEST PART OF THIS IS THE WRAP AROUND THE ABDOMEN THAT ALSO VELCROS MAKING THE SLING JUST ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE DOG TO GET OUT OF. IT IS VERY SECURE AND MY DOG COULD NOT MOVE MUCH BUT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. I HAVE A DOGGIE LIFT AND JUST NEED A SMALLER SLING AND THIS COMES WITH HOOKS AND STRAPS SO ALL I HAD TO DO WAS ATTACH IT TO THE HOOKS ON MY DOGGIE LIFT. I WAS QUITE SURPRISED OF THE PRICE, THE ACCESSORIES, THE SLING AND THE EXCELLENT QUALITY. I WASHED IT AND HUNG TO DRY WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. IT ALSO COMES WITH CLIPPERS AND OTHER ACCESSORIES. THIS IS REALLY A GREAT SLING AND KIT FOR THE PRICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.

I cannot say that this trimming hammock brought any comfort or calmness for my cat. It was stressful for the both of us. It took a lot of effort to figure out how to get my cat situated. Once my cat was in the hammock, he grew more and more upset. I had the hammock hanging from two door hooks. Without me holding him steady, he could have easily gained enough momentum to knock himself out against the door. I had hoped this hammock would help me trim my cat’s names by myself. It did not. Unfortunately, two people are still necessary to keep a pet from rocking back and forth.

Wow! This worked a lot better than I thought it would, especially for the inexpensive price! This hammock fit my squirmy 15lb mini pincher in it perfectly! She was very secure and it allowed me to trim her nails perfectly! The nail clippers that came with the set actually work very well, they have a safety piece on them so you don’t trim too far. It took me a minute to get the hammock secured on her because she is very squirmy but once I got it on it was a piece of cake to hang it!

I should have purchased 1 size larger. I have a 3 yr old himalayan and he's very fluffy thus it's hard to judge. Regardless I got him strapped in, hung up & clipped! I am on blood thinners so I had been paying the Vet to clip his nails. My sister recommended this contraption & all went well! I was able to clip his nails quickly with limited squirming & being non-agreeable. Neither of us bled! I am pleased with the purchase & would recommend. 4 out of 5 ☆ because I should have ordered the next size up.
