Here are the problems I have hit thus far. The brakes started shrieking after the third day. I had to clean them with alcohol, fixed the problem. The display failed to boot-up, rendering thee, "E"- in "E-Bike" useless. A plug was too short to make secure contact. The motor seems to be struggling. Up to 200-mile mark, the motor was strong. I had only run in asset 1-2 modes. At present, I have to help the motor to climb the slightest incline. I understand mechanical parts breakdown and wear out, under its own weight, plus my 150lbs, commuting 7.9 miles (one-way) up and down hills, not pushing the bike hard to or from. I now have to put the bike into assist four and five to power it up a 45-degree incline. I still enjoy riding the bike and use it as main form of transportation.This was my first purchase of an E-Bike. I was skeptical about E-Bikes, I did a lot of research on them before deciding to purchase this one. I bought this Vivi for commuting to work and back as well as transportation. I've found it to be rather versatile on the mountains and different terrains I have to ride on. I've only used the assist 1 mode. I haven't had to use any of the others as of yet. I've gotten to a maximum speed of 26.2mph during my 14-mile ride, "one way." It has only used one bar of battery during that ride. The headlight is plenty bright but is unfocused. I do wish it had come with a taillight. The tools it had come with are well below average. The Alan-wrenches don't fit properly and the screwdriver, I broke on the first screw. Assemble was pretty easy. I do like how it was packaged; no damage and the forks had an all-thread axle to prevent them from being deformed. The seat could be a little more comfortable, but that is minor. The control display is rather bright at night but make switching between modes very easy and keeps good track of miles and speed. I give this bike a 5 star rating. Rides easy and a good bang for the buck. A very good investment. ### ⭐ Issues right out of the box *by T***C on September 9, 2024* The media could not be loaded. I can’t give a true account of how well this e-bike operates since the left pedal won’t attach to the crank. It’s either an issue with the threads on the pedal or the threads of the crank.Also, the battery while having a 75% charge won’t stay powered on and it won’t charge either. Sent an email to the manufacturer and the seller. We will see what happens.
