Door Trim Panel Clip

The previous owner of our E53 broke and lost almost all the clips in the driver door panel. After replacing the carrier I needed new clips. These arrived next day, and when I called the BMW dealer to buy locally I was told $3/piece!! I chose to go with the BMW brand over the aftermarket ones as I noticed that there's quite a bit of pressure on the door panels trying to pull these away from the door constantly due to the design. After reading the reviews I trusted the BMW clips to have more holding power than the aftermarket ones might have. I wasn't disappointed, they clip right in and don't budge.

If you have resealed your vapor barrier after repairing your door or window regulator and are still having water leak issues through your door panel try these. Water can build up high enough from a down pour in the door panel, if you have non OEM plastic clips or broken ones they will leak from the clip hole. These have the thick gasket to make a tight seal.

These were not an identical replacement for the OEM clips on our 2001 BMW Z3. These clips lacked the notch that allowed them to be attached to the door panel. I was able to cut a notch into these and get them to work, otherwise there is no way they will get through the hole in the panel.

I had to put a little bit of weather striping to keep them from rattling when stereo was turned up but other than that they work well.

These clips work on the door cards, C-pillars, and third brake light cover on BMW E46 models. The items were as described and worked perfectly as they were intended to. They were also much cheaper than buying from BMW or other European parts sellers.

These may be genuine parts, but the parts shipped are not the part shown here. The part shown has a notch in the top end so it can be screwed into the door panel. The ones received have a complete round top, and no way do they fit! The part shipped can be cut and notched to work, but i expected the correct part.

Says OEM. 8 out of 12 pcs broke. I want to return but nothing was left

If you ever pull a BMW interior door at least have a pac of these, if you buy the cheapies from your local Auto parts store they will not have the foam backing. The foam aids in holding them in place, eliminating high pitch vibe noise and over all just a better fit.
