However, keep in mind, there will be no clearance for the speakers which are inside the bottom and point downwards, so I wouldn't use it sitting flat on a desktop unless you plan to not use the built-in audio. **Q: Does this monitor work good on the ps5?** A: So far the only game that i have played that utilizes the 1080p 120HZ is call of duty black ops Cold War. But it does operate pretty well. You can notice the difference. You just have to change your settings on the ps5 to performance mode. I did a return to asus and they claimed because of a small scratch from months ago my monitor was out of warrantee. After several rounds of my protesting someone stepped in and reconnected whatever tiny wire it was but that took several weeks. I was not able to use some of the g sync features. I ended up returning the monitor and order a IPS panel monitor that is really g sync certified. . IPS panel is much brighter and has less input lag and smearing. Did not know what I was missing until I tried an IPS panel with g sync. If you have an AMD card then the curved vg27qm will work with your gpu but if you have an RTX gforce gpu make sure to get a monitor that is g sync certified or you will not be able to use all the features of the gaming monitor. I picked up this monitor to add to my ASUS Tuf 15 laptop with a rtx 3060 gpu. This monitor works ok with my laptop. I can use hdmi or the display port at 240hz with no issues so far. I like the curved display helps pull you into the game. The monitor has some cool features that are useful when gaming. I can run fortnite at 165 fps with no problems and COD war zone 2 on high settings and get about 100 fps. I really love my ASUS laptop and monitor combo. Very easy to set up. Plug in and play with the settings to get the best picture for your use. I like the hight adjustment on the monitor. Very sleek looking and well made. I would recommend this combo for any gamer who wants an affordable set up. Thanks to ASUS and Amazon for having a great price and product selection.
