The outer material is like canvas and the inside is a foil lined insulated material. It can hold a few meal prep containers, a couple bottles of water and snacks. Nice bag for a nice price. I love this lunch bag! The insulation is awesome. I put a flat ice pack at the bottom and when I was ready to eat the whole bag was still nice and cool. Some days I bring a bit more food and my old lunchbox did not have the space to accommodate. With this one I can put one of those small salad bowls, my yogurt cup, my mason jar of coffee and a glass tupperware. Great quality and value for the price! Materials seem pretty durable, and the handles are sturdy.
