Does the outside of this get really hot????? I have used an electric skillet before on a Self Healing craft mat and it worped the mat... will this do

I have not had this problem at all. Mine is also on a mat, sometimes I have mine on for 8-10 hours with no problem. I really like my surebonder and the round shape. Can’t say anything bad about it. I bought it a good 6 months ago.

Does this glue last outside in winter?

I always use a combination of glue on anything I make for outdoors as I live in a four season region. I use this and E6000 glue and I don't have any issues. Hope this helps.
