Boncart Wood Filler Sticks, 6 Colors Wood Wax Crayons

I bought these to fix a couple of gouges and scratches in our wooden floor. Overall the product works very well and it’s a great value. What you get are basically 4.5 inch crayons made of various colored wax that melt easily and fill in the spots. Once you drip wax into the gouge, just use the scrape tool to remove any excess wax and make things smooth. I’ve used a product similar to this in the past so I knew what to do. I chose this product because of the wide variety of colors included. I figured one of them would match and the walnut was the best option for my needs. I would suggest to Boncart to include a cooler brown option maybe a lighter version of the walnut color? But overall it works great and is very simple to use! I’ll include pictures of my floor with the wax filling in the gouge. You literally can’t tell where I fixed it in most angles which is awesome. If you hit the lighting just right (I had to really try to find an angle where you can SEE the fix), there’s a difference in texture/shine and that’s the only way to tell. Highly recommend.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that deeper or larger repairs may need multiple passes or a more heavy-duty filler. Overall, they're a great tool to have on hand for light wood repairs and touch-ups for a great price.

I don’t think it worked at all. Too hard and broke

Hard to apply and it doesn’t cover scratches and blemishes like it advertises.

I purchased a new home several years ago with hand-scraped hard wood floors. Over the years a few areas have become chipped or dented due to normal wear. These wood filler sticks are easy to use and very effective at filling in those spots. It’s really difficult to detect there was ever even an issue. There are many good color matching options and can be strategically mixed for affect if needed.

I need to pay more attention to what I’m buying… I thought I was buying wood scratch pens. However, what I was repairing actually did have a ding so I decided to use this and it’s amazing. It can be used for scratches, but I think where it shines is repairing dings in the wood. Very happy with it. Like most, we have a lot of wood around the house-Kitchen cabinets, built-ins, hutch in the living room, etc. etc. I bought the variety color pack and it pretty much covers everything we have in our house. Read the directions, there’s a tad bit of a learning curve, but very easy to use. Overall, highly recommend for dings and scratches.
