It's very good doesn't seal 100% a little air escapes but does a good job cooling my legion laptop.RGB is cool , adjustability works as described overall great buy you won't regret it also I'll update this review if there are any problems

I was a bit skeptical of this as most laptop coolers tend to make a negligible difference but this absolutely does. It is super loud maxed out, but I always keep it around 50%-75% of max fan speed and it’s not any louder than your built in fans at that point. At that speed, it keeps my GPU (3080 165w) and CPU (5900hx) >10C cooler. The adjustability is nice, but the vent is at the back of the cooler and not underneath, so while you can change the angle, it’s not necessary and doesn’t really make a difference unlike your laptop’s built in fans. I’m not a fan of the RGB. It’s super easy to change the modes and it’s relatively bright, but it just doesn’t look as good as the RGB on most main stream peripherals. I just keep it off them off. Bottom line, if you want to keep your machine running as long as possible, keeping it cool definitely helps and this cooler just works super well.

Design, airflow, and having complete control of the fan motor speed with a dial sets this one apart from the rest. It seems that the foam-rubber insert could have been implemented via better engineering analysis, but this cooling pad is the best one I have now. Worth the price, the lights are highly customizable. One irony is that when the RGB is on, the edges of the pad get warm. Negligible from a macroscopic perspective. Its multiple height adjustment is great. Oh, and being powered by a separate power adapter (included) at first seemed like a drawback, considering I have so many things plugged in, but it's actually an enhancement in that you don't have to plug it into a USB port for power. If you're undecided, or hesitant like I was at first, I definitely recommend this cooling pad.

I bought a lot of cooling pads for my Gaming Laptop and I can tell this one is the best on the market. It REALLY cools your laptop, it's noisy but the product comes with a cushion foam for you to place your laptop on top of it, so it stays in place and also mitigates like 70% of fan sound. You can adjust the fan speed at your convenience. The RGB Lights are really cool, and it comes with lots of different light patterns and speed control. The base has 7 different heights to adjust your laptop. Take into consideration that it comes with a dust filter that it should be clean depending on how much dust your room has, it's really easy to clean though.

Changes temp of my laptop from 80-90 to 20-30-40 ish degrees. (I have a free program that tracks the temperature.) My laptop gets hot and then restarts itself, especially when playing certain games. This helps keep my laptop going.

Sounds like a soft low roar. All me gaming buddies said It sounded like a jet airplane on the runway. It does move quite a bit of air and does effectively cool my MSI katana quite well. Just be prepared for the noise. And I mean loud, obnoxious, room filling noise.

For the sake of context, I have a HP Zbook Fury 15.6" G8 running an Intel i9-11950H CPU + NVIDIA RTX A5000 GPU driving 4 x 32" 1920x1080 LG monitors via a Targus QV4K DOCK570USZ docking station. The Zbook has been sitting on a Zalman ZM NC2000 laptop cooler always running at full fan speed. The Zbook can run pretty hot when there is a lot going on across the four monitors (high 70's to low 90's Celsius), and the CPU idles at around 56-59 C when there is not much going on. This IETS GT500 cooling pad running at full fan speed lowered the idle temp about 9-10 C, down to 46-49 C...I think that is pretty darn impressive. Running the cooling pad fans at approximately 50% speed lowered the idle temp about 6-7 C to 50-52 C...also impressive. But... There is no getting around it - the IETS GT500 is pretty loud operating at full fan speed. Running the fans at about 50% speed lowers the noise level significantly, but it is still very noticeable. So if you are sensitive to relatively loud fan noise and don't wear headphones (or foam ear plugs) when operating this cooling pad at the higher /highest fan speeds then this is probably not the laptop cooler for you. Having said that, I really like it (so far) based on the very impressive cooling it delivers...I highly doubt there is a better cooling laptop pad to be found anywhere (...and I've looked...a lot). Is it an expensive laptop cooler? Well, that depends... When you compare it to the cost of other laptop coolers, yeah, it's relatively expensive. But in my mind that is the wrong question(s) to ask yourself. The right questions to ask are: [1] what did I pay for the laptop I need to cool?, [2] how well do I need that laptop to perform for me?, and [3] what is it worth to me to optimize the useful lifespan of my laptop? If you have a $300-$900 laptop that you only need to do some basic/intermediate and "low-to-moderate stress" things for you, you certainly don't need this cooler. But if you have a $1500-$5000 laptop that you need to do a lot of CPU/GPU intense work (and/or play) then, in my mind (so far) this IETS GT500 is a really excellent choice. Final three comments: [1] When I first set up the IETS GT500 cooler, as recommended by the Manufacturer, I tried the provided 15-17" laptop version foam "gasket" under the laptop to "seal" the rim contact between the laptop and the cooling pad base. But I found that when using the provided foam cooling pad gasket I was not able to achieve the best cooling...for me it was clearly best to not use the foam gasket at all and just set the laptop on the surface of the cooler. (One thing I may try is to get a 1/16" thick rubber adhesive-backed sheet and cut it to fit the rim surface of the IETS GT500 to try to get at least some of the "seal" effect and assess if that makes any further improvement (or not) in CPU/GPU temp reduction. [2] The IETS GT500 has an all plastic body and I sure would rather have it made out of aluminum instead of all plastic, but the construction does seem pretty decent (and now that it is set up and running it is not moving from my desk) so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt on this point. [3] I just recently started using this IETS GT500 laptop cooler so, at this point, I have no opinion on longevity...obviously time will tell how well it holds up under continuous use, all day every day, with regular periods of intensive full-fan-speed use.

I am loving my new cooling pad, it IMMEDIATELY started dropping the temps as I played my games. It works really well.. The only issue I have, and the reason for my bad score, I would have never bought it if it had stated it was entirely plastic, and not even a good plastic @80$ the description CLEARLY lists that it is made with metal, that's what I needed, since it's not, I have to keep it at home, and not take it with me when I'm away, which is where I play my games the most...

after trying a dozen of these, this works best for my legion thin laptop. not as noisy as llano, lighter and can reduce temp up to 20 c.

Simplesmente insano, em jogos como Marvel Rivals ou Ark Ascended meu notebook Alienware M16 r2 estava chegando a 90ºC, agora que estou utilizando o IETS fica a 60ºC, simplesmente incrível. Até agora foi o único que realmente trouxe resultados positivos.

A temperatura da CPU baixou de 90 para 67 graus celsius. Agora o notebook chega aos 5GHz de clock, sem que o sistema diminua a potência em razão da temperatura. O barulho é irrelevante , pois fica abafado pela vedação . Não incomoda ! Valeu muito a compra !
