Great (but maybe not for you?)
I was very surprised by the picture quality. Looks great. I haven't watched a movie on it or anything, I've just needed it as a teleprompter (I don't want to use a tablet for that), and it looks great. Please note that the aspect ratio is a bit off (at least for the size that I chose), but this is also stated in the specifications, if you know what to look for. Sound is incredibly loud. Now I don't need sound, but if you do, trust me, you WILL be able to hear it (you can of course turn it down). The quality of the sound is of course lacking any real bass, but I feel like that is to be expected. Once again, not great for movies or for that matter, music. But if you just need to be able to hear the sound, then sure, it's very usable. For me it has been a great buy. Easy to use, clear picture, no trouble at all. If I break the one I have, I'll buy it again.

USED with REKORDBOX DJ Software
Brilliant item. I actually use this as a DISPLAY unit for my REKORDBOX DJ software so I dont have to have my laptop all near the decks! I've wanted an extra screen for a while but wanted something a bit smaller and more cost effective than a computer monitor. This works brilliant. screen resolution is good very happy!

Monitor screen great quality
Bought 2 of these screens as an addition to a cctv system, screen picture quality is good even when split screen for multiple images. Easy to use and install, light and compact. Recommend 😊

Very Poorly Made with Extremely Cheap Components
I was looking for a monitor between 10 and 12 inches in size to run my mini home server on so I wouldn’t need to keep switching sources on one of my main monitors. I was surprised by how few there actually was, so I really deeply looked around the web to find the best option for my needs. In the end I decided to buy the WHOLEV 10.1 inch monitor. I thought it would do what I intended it to fairly easily as I didn’t need anything flash. I was excited to open up the box to try out my new monitor. The first thing I did was plug my Chromecast into the HTMI port to test out it’s picture quality and at first look it looked great, least good enough for my needs. After a while I plugged it into my mini home server, which would be it’s initial purpose, and everything seemed off from that point. I shamefully had to return the monitor. I had so many issues with the monitor I have decided to just number them below: 1. I had some very noticeable LED edge light bleeding that was present on all four sides of the screen. I noticed this as soon as I started Terminal (which is normally a black screen with white text for those that do not know) in Linux. I couldn’t believe how prominent the bleeding was, I found this unacceptable. 2. I don’t think the screen was installed in the device correctly as I would have to look under the top bezel to see the very top of the screen which in my case hosted the date & time and all the buttons for the computers settings. 3. Viewing angles on the screen were terrible when looking above and below the monitor, from the left and right looked acceptable at best. This was a huge issue for me due to the placement of the monitor in my room. 4. I tried the VGA cable provided in the box and it didn’t give me a clear picture, everything looked smudged to the right. This was fixed using my own VGA cable. 5. The monitor really struggled showing black. When the screen was meant to be showing black it would end up being more purple. 6. I knew the sound quality wouldn’t be that great due to the size of the product but I was expecting something better than I got. The speaker installed in this monitor is the cheapest speaker I have heard in quite a few years now. In conclusion I believe this screen was very poorly made with extremely cheap components. If you intend to use a monitor where you view a lot of dark graphic content or to run an Operating System on it, I would advise that you avoid this monitor and look elsewhere. Shamefully I couldn’t give this monitor anything better than a one star. I was only looking for something simple and half decent, and this product was far off those expectations.

Glass "Rimless" 1280x800 display - Great little monitor... - Setup tips!
Due to limited deskspace as I have a 3440x1440 display already and limited need but still a need for a second monitor, I figured I'd purchase this little monitor, I picked the rimless glass version and have applied my own anti-glare film to the display and it matches nicely. Much to my surprise the unit itself looks better in person than it does in the pictures. I have quite a bit of technical knowledge when it comes to monitors and graphics work so I put this little display through my usual litany of tests. ::::[ SETUP ]:::: Setup wasn't great to be honest, over HDMI it was detected as a 1024x600 display, and I could tell that it was not at native resolution. I created a custom resolution of 1280x800 using CVT, with a refresh rate of 72hz, which is exactly half that of my primary monitor at 144hz to avoid stuttering. I had to turn the display off and back on again and I could tell it was now displaying at the correct resolution for the panel and the image was sharp. The monitor accepts the signal and so I decided to see how far I could "overclock" the display, it seems to go to 75hz happily with no complaints but anything above that does not work, the usual tricks to squeez out a few more hz did nothing to allow it to go above 75hz. So yes, this display does overclock to 75hz, if you are using a 144hz display then you should set the refresh rate to 72hz, this will avoid any juddering issues Windows may have when using displays with differing refresh rates. There was no frameskipping at any refresh rate that worked. Next I also found that I had to set the colour mode to "limited" rather than full as the display was crushing blacks and whites, the panel is 8 Bit and once I set the colour to limited I found the display to be surprisingly accurate. ::::[ DISPLAY ]:::: The first thing I noticed was that the edges of the display "hid" behind the glass front unless looking directly at it from the front, A strange design flaw but on a panel this small and which will likely see use as a CCTV or secondary display it is not an issue, the display is set back from the glass by a few mm. The second thing I noticed was that sadly, this is a TN panel, and not an IPS panel as advertised, now it is a "good" TN panel in that it has wide viewing angles and due to it's size you don't see any colour shifting, so unless you know what you are looking for or are looking at it from extreme angles it's unlikely you'd notice, the LAGOM viewing angle test doesn't even give away that it is a TN panel. Colours are very uniform for such a display, even a dark grey (which usually reveals ant flaws in a display) background with flat colours being displayed surprisingly vibrant for such a display. Sadly there doesn't seem to be a way to actually control the backlight, with both brightness and contrast only affecting the image, without adjusting the backlight brightness, so values of 50 for Brightness, 50 for Contrast and 50 for Saturation will be the only "correct" or native values. There was also no way to control or adjust colours, meaning I'll have to do that from my graphics card drivers as I prefer a "warm" tone to my display. ::::[ FINAL THOUGHTS ]:::: For a second monitor, where desk space is limited or where you don't want too much 'screen' in your face at once this more than fits the bill. I personally use it for displaying reference images when working on 3D models and for E-Mail, Facebook or for watching movies "in the background" so I don't get distracted from what I am doing on my primary monitor. I did find the text to be a little small, in a perfect world I'd want to go from 10" to maybe 12 or 13" but I'm happy with my purchase.

Very good quality monitor at a very competative price
Very good quality monitor at a very competative price. Images are sharp and clear and this monitor is ideal for CCTV access or photographic work alongside cameras. I would recommend this monitor for price and quality.

Adequate, but flawed
I purchased this to use as a desktop extension for stats monitoring etc on my PC, simply because I fancied it. First thing's first, it is not 'rimless'. You can see that in the product picture. What it actually means is that it has a pane of glass OVER the screen edge to edge. If you were hoping for full screen without frame borders, no. The on screen controls are fairly hideous and very limited but we're not expecting much here. The quality of the picture is....adequate. The monitor when connected to a Windows 10 PC (GTX 980 graphics card) via HDMI auto detects as native resolution of 1024 x 600 which is obviously not correct. Fiddling with the Nvidia control panel forced the resolution to the advertised 1280 x 800 but was not full screen, this had to be adjusted to full screen scaling. Once this was all set the picture quality is actually fairly sharp for what it is. The colour profile is fairly horrendous so don't expect much from it there and the panel has pretty terrible viewing angles. But for a dinky little monitor you can't expect too much. My next flaw is the fact that the glass panel on the front ('rimless'...pfff) actually FELL OFF. It is held on with sticky backed tape which simply let go and fell off onto my desk. Thankfully it didn't shatter. Now, the silly thing is the picture quality is actually marginally IMPROVED by this! The glass is also VERY glossy, I had tried an anti glare cover but this reduced the image quality so much it just wasn't worth it. The actual panel underneath the glass is still fairly reflective but less so than the glass panel in front so this was a bit of a win. And, the darn thing doesn't look ANY different aesthetically for it being 'removed'. In short, the glass panel is a waste of time, if you buy this I would actually recommend gently prying it off. All in all, I feel this was quite expensive for what it is. It's perfectly 'fine', but I couldn't recommend it given the above flaws.
