The smell of this perfume is just perfection to me!I started looking for a violet perfume after eating some C. Howard's Violet candies, and while the taste of the candy was great, the smell was even better. This perfume smells just like those candies. It's like a dream come true. I will be buying it again for sure!

If you are looking for a scent like Parma Violet or Devon Violet, look elsewhere. This "smell" (because it is not a pleasant fragrance) is horrid. Not sweet or natural at all, instead leaving a scent that is more like furniture polish or bug spray.

I was taking a feet first jump into this one and I'm so, so glad that I did! I love the bitter smell of true Violet perfume but, it's so difficult to find. The scent lasts for a long time. I think it's because it's a solid rather than a liquid. I get so many compliments on how great I smell. I always tell people that I'm an old soul. 😊

I sometimes find spray perfumes to be too alcohol-forward, so I thought I'd give this cake version a try. In terms of the medium, I do love how easy it is to apply and how well it absorbs into the skin. I also like its lasting power! In addition, I have sensitive skin but did not experience any issues when using the product.Now, for anyone who is sensitive to scents, I will say that the scent is quite strong at first but it does mellow down once applied. I can very easily detect the violet notes upon first application as that is the strongest right out of the package, but I also feel that it becomes more complex as the perfume interacts with the skin. I would describe the overall scent as a very sweet floral, with underlying herbal notes. If you are into floral scents I do think this is a fun addition to a collection!

Once applied to my skin, there was no fragrance whatsoever.

Violet is a very strong smell and a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, it's very hard to get just a little of this and just handling the tin left me with a cloud of violet scent that was sort of inescapable. This may just be my own aversion to too much of certain scents so your mileage may vary but for me this is going to be a little difficult to use. I'll have to see if there's some way to dilute this or else find some creative solutions because the smell is actually very nice but I can't handle this level of intensity. I would definitely suggest applying it with a swab or something else that you can throw away so that you don't end up with it on your fingers.

Omgoodness I’m in love!!! Smells amazing I wish it also came in liquid form.. would definitely recommend this and would buy again.
