My ten year old Pfister kitchen faucet was starting to leak at the pivot point. Pretty common of this model and all similar designs and brands. With a simple O-ring kit and Danco Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease I was able to do a quick rebuild, stop the leak, and get everything working again. It was easily to apply, didn't make a mess, didn't stink up the house, and worked exactly as designed. The 0.5oz container was more than enough to last a long time. At less than six bucks, it was a great value. Would definitely buy again.

I’m not a plumber and haven’t any tools. But what I had was an annoying Delta or Moen kitchen sink faucet that swings from side to side with a bit of resistance but a whole lot of squeaking. Found this silicone grease and without dismantling the faucet I pulled the housing up slightly and applied the grease to where the o-rings are presumably. Then shifted the housing down and applied it to the top as well. Quiet now, can hear the crickets. Such a simple fix to a poorly designed faucet.

I bought this specifically to maintain the O-rings and motor head gasket on my Fluval 207 canister filter. It works perfectly! It is 100% pure silicone, contains no petroleum (which destroys rubber), and is NSF-61 approved, making it completely safe for drinking water and your fish. It creates an excellent waterproof barrier that stops micro-leaks and makes pushing the hoses onto the AquaStop valve effortless. For a fraction of the price of aquarium-branded lubes, this stuff is a total steal.

This thick silicone grease appears to be and feels the same as dielectric grease. I was expecting a less viscous grease for moving parts so used it coat electrical connections.

If you are replacing any faucet washers, you need to coat the washers with this otherwise there will be friction that will be the early demise of the washers. Also, I bought a Delta bathroom faucet with cartridges, and the handle turned against an o-ring and the handle became difficult to turn. The solution was to turn off the water, remove the handles and coat the o-rings with this grease. Ditto for a laundry room faucet spout that became difficult to move left and right. Turn off the water, remove the spout, and coat the o-ring with this grease.
