Bought this sandbox for my grandson‘s 5th birthday. He loves it!. It is smooth, finished cedar wood. Smells wonderful. We were able to put it together in about 40 minutes or so. Easy, clear instructions. It comes with a nice weed barrier liner and a cover that fits well. It is big enough that two children have plenty of room to sit and play. It took 8 - 50 pound bags of sand to fill nicely. This is a quality piece that will gets lots of enjoyment over the next few years. Don’t hesitate!!

Very nice. It was very easy to assemble with 1 person. 2 probably would have taken an half an hour. I took about 40 fixing it by myself. The kids loved it. It has a cloth base and a plastic cover

Cover won't hold up with heavy rain on top, but easy to put together and great size. Color matches to pictures. Bottom does not attach, the frame sits on the weed barrier mat with a small edge around it so it would be easy to move. Would suggest they put info about how many sand bags it takes to fill on the instructions manual. In my picture I had used 50lb multipurpose sand bags x5 and had about a 1-2" deep sandbox. Takes more like 15-20 bags to have decent depth due to size, fyi.

This sandbox is a great size made of sturdy materials. It comes with a bottom mesh liner to keep sand in place while allowing moisture to escape. I could fit 5 children comfortably playing inside the sandbox. I only needed five 50-pound nags of playground sand, but you could add more. It has a nice cover, but I put rocks around the edge just to make sure it stayed in place during wind. Make sure you place it on a level ground surface, and stretch the cover tight enough, or when it rains, water will naturally pool on top of the cover. I am pleased with this purchase.

Excellent! We had a tornado warning/severe thunderstorm and the lid kept all water out of the sandbox. Very sturdy. My son loves to play in it!!!

Read the reviews, would like to hire the persons kids who helped him assemble in 20 minutes. This unit was difficult to assemble, holes didn't line up well with the thin no drilled boards. I drilled what was needed to keep from splitting the wood and center as much as possible. The description said it 100% cedar, this cedar is not like any cedar I have used in the past, no cedar smell and the wood looked white. The side wall connections were very loose and would have been better if secured by galvanized brackets. The notches on the intertwined boards were only secured by 2ea 1x2x6" boards with 4 screws, very unstable. The canvas provided doesn't fit well and turns up at the ends forming a catch pan instead of a rain drain path. You have to cut the canvas at the uprights to the canvas frame to allow the canvas to lay flatter, there is no way to secure to the side boards. True enough that whole canvas support and framework is flimsy and will be gone when extended with any big wind. If I'm right about the wood, it will be rotted out in 2 years just like a tree swing that was up almost 2 years with very similar wood. All and all it is very cute and probably functional but unlikely to last as is for any length of time.

Man muss einfach sagen, der Mehrpreis lohnt sich, dies haben wir schon beim Kletter- und Rutschturm festgestellt. Zedernholz und eine hochwertige Verarbeitung sind einfach das Geld wert! Wenn man sich das Holz richtig zurechtlegt, kann man den Zusammenbau auch alleine durchführen. :)

Broke within 15 minutes. Super cheap and flimsy wood and the canopy was blue not striped. Don’t waste your money.

There was missing scores (that make the umbrella go up and down) also the wood was too fragile at the lateral side of the box , try to bee gentle when you assemble it .

Love it! My daughter is a “dirt & mud” kinda girl and I was sick of hosing her off every time she played outside in the dirt. Getting this sandbox has been a game changer, she plays for hours in it. This sandbox is nice and big and the seats along the sides are very convenient for me to sit on to play with my kiddo.
