The Missing Link Pet Kelp Dog Skin & Coat Organic Supplement Powder, 8 oz

I have a 7 year old Beagle who has suffered his whole life with severe seasonal skin allergies. Hot spots would start to develop in spring when things began to bloom and last until the end of fall/early winter when things start to die off and freeze over. There were a couple of times when he had to go on antibiotics for infections caused by itching and chewing so much. I started giving him Pet Kelp Skin & Coat a couple of months ago and I am happy to say that we are nearing the end of May, things are blooming like crazy and NO HOT SPOTS. Not one. He is blissfully unaware that the pollen is exploding around him. He spends half the day outside rolling around in the grass and then sleeps through the night without a care. I am relieved. I was at my wits end trying to come up with new ways to keep him comfortable during (his) worst parts of the year. I hated taking him to the vet to be shaved, cleaned and medicated. This is, (for us), a great product. I don't know what I would have done if it hadn't been effective. I've tried just about everything else.

Vet prescribed for pre-thyroid lab levels because of the iodine in the kelp. After one year of one teaspoon daily, his labs are back to normal. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste at all.

I have a smooth coated McNab Shepherd. He'd been on this supplement for awhile and his coat had always been shiny. I attributed the shine to feeding him salmon. Then I ran out of this supplement and didn't reorder for a month or two. I noticed a difference in his coat and when I started giving it to him again the shine returned. So it works!

We bought this because after hyperthyroidism treatment for our cat we now think she has hypothyroidism. She was sluggish and slept all of the time and her fur was very dry. It seems to help a little bit with the fur but she is undoubtedly more active which was our biggest concern. Just watch out if you have more than one cat/animal as we've read that kelp can cause hyperthyroidism and you don't want that.

Great product. I just add a teaspoon to my dog’s morning feeding. It protects and improves the health of your dog.

I,m really pleased with this product I can see an improvement in my dogs already their coats are much improved and they seem to be in better health all over thanks As they are elderly Jake is16 and Hazel is 12 years I shall be giving this product for the rest of their lives Thank you

My dog has a ton of allergies. I'm talking allergies to it all: chicken, turkey, duck, fish is a big one, the list just goes on. I'm limited with the types of dog foods I can buy and feed her. Most of the dog foods that agree with her lack key ingredients for skin and coat shine (b/c of fish allergies). She is extremely itchy and has dry skin issues. I've added this to my dogs diet and the changes in her skin and coat are amazing. She looks happy and comfortable for the first time in her life. Thank you so much for an amazing product and letting my dog find some form of comfort in her skin.
