No wobble, great cardio, worth the money
Update 10/10/2025:Well, it is still a nice workout, and I'm using it at least four times a week. However, the past two sessions of 30 and 45 minutes, I noticed a lot more noise, which I tracked down to the resistance section where the tension cable goes in/out. The vibration noise is coming from within that part. Hope it isn't going to break, but will have to wear hearing protection, as it is that problematic and I have tinnitus. I will say it has over 500 miles on it so far, but was not expecting this development.Original review below:The second time was the charm. Another brand I bought here on Amazon arrived damaged. This one arrived in perfect working condition with no damage. The resistance roller assembly is packaged separately within the box, perfectly shielded in thick Styrofoam to avoid any damage in transit. The shifter works great too, and the speeds on my bike work in conjunction with the trainer's roller to ramp up the resistance much more than I'll ever use.The large handle used to engage and hold the bike in the stand is a welcome addition for my arthritic hands. It is noisy when pedaling faster, but that is expected, I just watch TV and zone out the noise.Provides great cardio that will make you sweat while using it, so have a fan and water handy (this here on Amazon works great for handlebars to hold my Rtic 28 ounce tumbler: Delta Cycle & Home Bike Cup Holder Expanding Beverage Cup Holder for Bike Handlebar - Universal Bike Drink Holder, Stroller Cup Holder, or Walker Cup Holder - Tool-Free Installation), but I used a screwdriver to really clamp it down.My 26" Jamis Hudson Sport with quick release is rock solid in the trainer with no wobble. It's well worth the money IMHO.

Loud but worth it.
As many reviews state, it is loud, but looking at other similar trainers, they all are loud so not much you can do about it except setup in an area that won't disturb others (I work out at 4:30 in the morning) and put in some headphones. The trainer itself is great. The multiple resistance levels allow for varied workouts and it's easy to shift. The trainer is also very easy to setup. The only downside is the handle bar grip that the resistance switch comes with. It could stand to be a bit wider for handle bars. If you take the rubber padding off then it's too loose, so I just zip tied mine on. Also it's beneficial to ziptie the cord that goes from the trainer to the switch so as not to trip or get it caught in the rear wheel.

It works and seems pretty well built.
I bought this to put on my bike which is not a high end bike "Schwinn Discovery " hybrid. I am about to have knee replacement surgery the Doc said exercise bike is very beneficial for recovery. Short story did not want to put out a lot of money for a future clothes hanger. This thing will fold up and take little space when not in use. So time will tell and it will probably get more usage if I get the other knee done. The good - stand is sturdy, set -up easy and straightforward, if using for PT you will need a stool with a handle at first due to the stand raising mounting height of bike, it worked on my bolt thru axle with no modification the nut fit in the hub. Noise acceptable with smooth tire. The bad - Front tire stand could be bigger a few inches all around and a couple more non-skid feet would take it from goodish to great. And like other comments the adjustment control for resistance is junk the control works the mounting bracket is what is junk. But no worries get it to hang on the handle bar or not set it on six and use your gears on your bike if you have them.Time will tell but for now 4 to 4.5 stars mainly for the front tire stand and junk mounting bracket on controller.

I REALLY LIKE THIS BIKE STAND
I am a long-time bike rider and live in Phoenix, AZ. Here the summer weather is HOT. The outdoor temperatures here are high 80’s or into the 90’s before sunrise. I use the stand in the summers to avoid the heat.I hooked up a speedometer on my bike’s rear tire to read the mileage ridden on the bike stand. I have ridden about 110 miles on the stand in the past 2 weeks and the stand has performed well. The stand itself is heavy duty steel, well-finished, and attractive. Mounted on the stand, the bike is taller, so I use a short stool to get on and off the bike. The support for the front wheel is nice and keeps the bike level from front to back. I used the replacement quick release skewer that came with the stand because it fit the stand’s clamps best. The cable to the magnetic resistance unit is quite long. I coiled it and zip tied it, to compact it, and keep it away from the pedals. The resistance unit was easy to attach to the stand. The clamps that hold the bike keep it firmly in place once adjusted properly. The clamps are simple to adjust for your bike’s size. Do not overly tighten the adjustment that keeps the roller pressed against the bike’s rear tire or it will create more noise. My bike has Specialized Nimbus 2 Armadillo tires 700X32 that have smooth tread and do not cause annoying noise. The noise comes from the spinning of the magnetic resistance unit and roller that contacts the tire. By turning up the volume on the TV, it is still possible to use a TV when using the unit. One reviewer complained that the magnetic resistance unit was not effective. It works fine for me. I have it set for #3 on the handlebar unit and change the resistance by shifting my bike’s gears.

Works!
well-made stand that does the job. A plus was easy assemble.

Construction quality is poor!
The overall design is OK, but the main frame that holds the bike wheel in place was not properly fixtured during the welding process and the bike is not held in a "reasonably true" vertical position. It's about 5 degrees off and the tire runs very near one end of the resistance roller assembly. The quick release "skewer" provided is not a complete assembly and will not work with most bike wheels, thereby requiring a trip to a bike shop to have a proper quick release axle installed if you want to use it as described. The axle holders will however work with any standard quick release wheel, and in our case works with our standard bolt and nut style axle, but they don't inform this is possible in the sale copy or assembly instructions. Both of the cup ends of the wheel holders were not even hand tight onto the support screw shaft or quick release mechanism and required a metric Allen wrench and a washer on the quick release side to properly fix them tightly in place. The resistance adjustment knob did not tighten on our standard diameter handlebars so I had to cut 8 mm off the end of the bolt of the quick release lever for it to tighten properly.I should send this unit back to Amazon, but it's too much effort to repack and ship it, and would run the risk any replacement we select arrives in a similar disappointing state. I will likely heat the frame with a torch and bend it until straight & true, then re-paint it (simply because I have the facility and tools to make it work correctly.Very poor quality management and process tooling at the manufacturer! Must be cheaper to refund disappointed customers than make a good quality product?

Works Great and Fixed loud noise issue!
Fixed the Sound issue! Saw many complaints about the noise and I too had the same issue. I knew the sound was because of the knobby tires and purchased WTB ThickSlick Hybrid Bike Tire. Replaced the knobby tire and absolutely ZERO noise with these tires! I now can watch the TV I have set up in the garage and don't have to blast it to hear it! The Bike Trainer is excellent.

No assembly instructions. Easy to figure out anyway though. Sturdy, works well. Light noise.
No assembly instructions but my husband put together pretty quickly. Works well. Sturdy, different settings work well. There's obviously a slight white-noise sound during use but nothing that loud that would wake up your family. I live in a one-story home and have it set up in our foyer which is cement base so keep that in mind in this review. I've used it for 3 months now at least a couple times a week and so far no complaints and holding up well!

Recomendable

Great value for money and suprised at the product quality
with winter on its way i thought i would try out an in door turbo trainer. following investigations there are clearly products which provide more with tablet apps to provide the visual element of a ride ...however price points are v highThis trainer provides a decent value for money option with 6 resistance levels - getting the right combination of bike gear setting and resistance level takes a a bit of trial and error but I have settled on a fixed gear and change the trainer resistance setting.I have this setup in the garage so noise is not a problem but have smooth road tyres and the noise level is fairly low.its obviously not as good as getting out on the road but you can still get a decent bit of excercise and work up a sweat.

Quality Product
I found it easy to assemble but I am a handyman and don’t find these tasks difficult. It is very solid and folds up neatly when not in use. However it makes the most awful noise when in use. Quite honestly if you have close neighbours it will send them nuts and you definitely cannot have it in your house.
