Most of the family is allergic to many types of adhesive dressings, so a good supply of micropore tape is essential! This is a box of 12 reels of genuine 3M micropore surgical tape - and at an amazing discount when compared with rip-off high street prices! Each reel is a handy 2.5cm wide and has 9.1m of tape on it. We tend to make our own dressings using lint-free low-adherent "Melolite". These are then held in place with this tape. 3M micropore adheres so much better than other (supposedly cheaper) brands. 12 reels will keep our home and car first aid kits fully stocked for a while.... With next morning delivery too, we are rather chuffed 😀 😊

They work, as opposed to some micropore tape I have tried as they stick to themselves whereas some do not stick.

Forget compeed and all that. When I used to row and get blisters, we all used micropore. It is very thin and effectively forms a new layer of skin where the blister has taken the top layer off. You only need two layers max and it takes away the pain and protects the sore area underneath. I patched up walkers on the Camino di Santiago di Compostella and everyone was really happy.

I last bought 3m tape in 2020. It was great, It ripped square across, stayed stuck even in the shower and was a quality product, The last ones I purchased a couple of months ago are totally different. Much , much thinner, do not tear straight across so you have to use scissors and do not stay stuck in the shower. I wish I had bought one the generic ones and saved money because I paid for a quality that no longer exists, Put it this way, I thought I was buying first class ticket on Qantas only to discover I had an economy ticket on Air Afghanistan........
