I bought the Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz long before the whole “ramageddon” price spike and got it for under £70, which was amazing value. Performance has been excellent — very fast and reliable in daily use and gaming. These days the price is ridiculous, but back then it was a steal. Pros: • Very fast and reliable • Great value when purchased • Easy to install Cons: • Current market prices are much higher Overall, excellent RAM for a build if you can find it at a reasonable price.

Upgraded to the Crucial Pro DDR5 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36, and I’m beyond impressed. The speed is incredible—games load faster, multitasking is smooth, and overall system responsiveness is amazing. The stability is rock-solid, even under overclocking, and the CL36 timings give perfect performance without any hiccups. The heat sinks keep everything cool, and the design looks sleek in any build. Considering the performance and quality, this kit is a fantastic value for money. If you want fast, reliable, and stylish RAM, this Crucial Pro kit is a no-brainer!

Bought to upgrade from 16Gb 5200MHz Crucial RAM. Needed the extra ram for the VM's I run and looking to install Qubes OS on this machine which will definitely benefit from more memory, in fact, although the recommended is 16Gb, it's always better to have a minimum of 50% extra, but I prefer doubling that, if not more, software is always getting more complicated and demanding and the first bottleneck you reach is generally RAM, then storage/disk transfer rate, then CPU, and then interconnectivity bandwidth, by which time you will be better off building a new system. The RAM works perfectly, as you expect from Crucial, however, I ended up running it at 5200MHz as the boot time was significantly longer at 6000MHz. The O.S. (Win10) ran better at 6000MHz but the boot time went from almost instant, to something approaching a minute. Nothing to do with the Crucial SSD (T500 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 Internal Gaming SSD, Up to 7400MB/s). Don't blame it on the RAM sticks, Don't blame it on the NVRam Disk, Don't blame it on the Gfx, Blame it on the BIOS. I prefer stability over minor performance increases. I also prefer stability over medium to large performance increases, so, eventually, once the AM5 board gets a BIOS update with better memory compatibility, I'll use it to it's full potential. It sits on a damn good board, which should always be your priority in any system, CPU prices are always going to come down and you can get away with a good value £/performance processor, but when you do upgrade that RAM or CPU, you never want the motherboard to be the limitation as that will always be the hard ceiling. Ordinarily, I wouldn't have bothered going from 5200MHz to 6000MHz, but since I needed more capacity, and the price was really, really good on this kit, it made sense to spend a little extra for the 6000MHz over the 5200MHz. Blame it on the BIOS.

My PC was struggling with 16GB Ram so I upgraded to 32GB. It has made a massive difference. From 70% used to 30% used. Things are running a lot smoother especially when gaming. I will say though that I can't get it to run at 6000 because my Alien doesn't allow it to be modified from 5600.

I upgraded to this Crucial Pro DDR5 kit for a new build and it’s been solid. Plugged it into a B650 board, enabled XMP, and it hit 6000MHz without any issues. No crashes, no tweaking just worked straight out of the box. Performance in games and multitasking feels snappy, and the black heat spreaders look clean without being flashy. Great value for the speed and capacity, especially if you're pairing with a Ryzen or Intel setup.

These RAM sticks are plain, no fancy RGB. In my situation that it's fine as I am not bothered, saves finding software to try and control them. The sticks fitted perfectly in my Z890 Gigabyte Elite board. The BIOS needed to be changed to XMP for the profile and then set up all the timings and voltages correctly. Running at 6000Mhz with zero issues, in slots 2 and 4. Very happy with these Crucial sticks, they just work.

The memory looks great. I was looking for a clean aesthetic without lights or gamer elements. These sticks were exactly what I wanted from that respect. Performance is good, and overall I'm happy with them. However, it wasn't until after I bought them that I realised that the 6000MHz speed is when you overclock. By default they run at 4400 mega transfers/s. Initially, I was not able to get them beyond this, but after a motherboard bios update and a lot of faffing about with overclocking settings, the best I could do was 5600 mega transfers/s. I'm satisfied with this, but I feel like it's a little misleading to say this is 6000MHz RAM. The this is going to depend on your motherboard/CPU being able to support this level of overclock. I contacted Crucial for tech support and they talked me through various recommendations on the settings, and even advised me to swap the slots they were installed in, but in the end, nothing got me to 6000MHz. In reality it doesn't make a massive difference in terms of performance. With all that said, at the time I got them, and even now, these are still among the best value DDR5 sticks out there (when on sale) and I would buy them again.
