Vitamin C Handheld Shower Head | Built-in Vitamin C + Ceramic Balls Reduces Chlorine & Chloramine, While Improving Skin and Hair Health

I just Installed this. The entire shower head is plastic aside from the face where the water comes out which is metal. Despite the fact it almost entirely made of plastic, it feels somewhat durable. I do not think it would fare too well to being dropped in a metal bathtub, but it should not fall apart in your hands. The water flow was decent. I have my shower head Installed on a gooseneck shower pipe, and I am using this in conjunction with the AquaYouth 2.0 shower filter. I fixed my sprayer into a position so it will essentially rain down. I have insanely high water pressure of about 90 psi. I find the spray to be comfortable even with high water pressure. I only took a few showers with this filter. It is too early to tell if the vitamin C is doing anything for my skin. I will update my review (good or bad) after I use the product for awhile. Edit: I have used my shower filter for awhile. I love it. This in conjunction with the AquaYouth 2.0 filter ensures that no chlorine is making it to my body. I bought an extra refillable cartridge from the AquaYouth website and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) online. I can cheaply refill and replace my filters as needed. The spare filter is great as I do not have to wait or rush to refill the empty one.

Will not go without. Makes such a difference on skin and hair.

It is a nice spray however it is so strong that it creates a quite wind effect which can make things feel colder in the shower which might be good for hot days...maybe.

Shower head is awesome, no low flow valve so uses up a lot of hot water quickly. Only issue is aqua youth is out of the vitamin C refill

I’ve purchased two of these now cause when they’re working they have great pressure. I purchased replacement filters for the first one and the head face threading failed soon after. So I ordered a replacement thinning maybe I overtightened the plastic pieces, but the second one has already failed before the stock vitamin C cartridge has even been used up. Didn’t unscrew or screw to replace anything, just started leaking one day. Which they made an opaque metal version that was more durable.

Filter works good, did the test that came with filter and it showed clean water. The Vitamin C cartridge goes pretty quick and some time the shower heads sprays one stream of water sideways. overall great filter the water is super soft and my skin has felt better

It’s been a day since installing this, and I could already sense a difference. Note: I WILL be pairing this with Envigs ChloraClear Chloramine shower filter. I’d recommend this one over the carbon filter this brand is offering if you deal with chloramine, as that one will basically be useless. So far, I really like the design of this thing. Vitamin C is great for more than just removing the crap from water. I would definitely not use this as a standalone, I would still add on another specific shower filter. Envigs product is the only one I could find that specifically deals with chloramine, which is sad considering how common it’s being used now. So many people being sold products that don’t work to the full capacity lol. So if I were you, dealing with chloramine specifically, I’d pair with this other filter, but this is definitely useful along side a main filter because of the fact it’s refillable with vitamin c powder. It’s more economic and affordable to buy a tub of the powder and just refill it.

I really thought when I ordered it that it would barley shoot the water out. I bought another similar to this and that was the case. I am very glad I gave this a try. I am extremely happy with how much water comes out. I like allot of water in my shower head and this is my new go to for anyone asking for one.

Meet the expectations

Works great to remove the Chlorine, no issues installing. Based on 2 people showing everyday for 10mins, we need to replace the filter every 3 months, so $70 / yr. I hope the replacement cartridges get cheaper in the future. Update October 2025: it’s still working great! I forgot to order replacement cartridges, They should be here in a week and I totally noticed the difference in how dry my skin feels after using this almost every day for the last year. This product is worth the money in my opinion.
