extremely insightful
I recommend to everyone even if they don’t think they have OCD. There are very useful tips to help everyone in aspects of their lives in terms of acceptance of obsessing over things to trying to correct harmful behavior or fears. A very deep informative book about the mindset and functioning of a person’s mind who is dealing with this disorder. Not everyone can come with compulsion and it’s difficult to understand the inability to control or redeem this behavior. A great book to help in overall self betterment.

Practical
The book is geared towards someone personally dealing with OCD and it is a workbook to help them manage. I have a family member who dealt with an OCD episode that lasted months and this was helpful for me. The author goes through a range of informative topics and has highly specific exercises / worksheets / journaling prompts to really help see what is happening and what is OCD manifesting. Highly recommend this!

Great book!
Really well written. Thorough, practical, and easy to understand. Especially valuable as it has been written by a person who has suffered from the mental disorders he is giving guidance on. Well researched and presented in a step-by-step manner, the very techniques he has successfully used. I regard this as a very valuable book on the topic of OCD, and using the techniques of CBT and DBT to treat.
