I own 4 diffrent anker products and 1 expansion battery for my 767 battery , first you cannot charge the expansion battery from the 767 direct ,the 767 has to be fully charged before it will start to charge the main 767 ,so the person who left a feed back should do his research ,now to anker there customer service is no1 ,any problems they will sort it 2nd there products are no 1 in the world ,I owned an ecoflow was happing problems with it ,contacted them it took 7 days before I heard from them ,sent it back in the end ,I would recommend anker to anybody

Works flawlessly
Works as designed I guess, it's doubled the usage of my Anker battery and works very well! Expensive but a good product links easily and gives a greater opportunity to use my own grown electricity supply! The downside is it'll take me a long time to break even😆

Do not buy
Be warned. It's too much risk to buy this product at the moment as there is no support or way of making returns if / when something goes wrong. I own a Solix C1000 and was very happy with it and I also own a Powerhouse 555 which I use regularly. Getting the expansion battery for the C1000 seemed like a great idea to double the capacity. The item was partially charged when it arrived and it looked to do the job I needed perfectly. The one main initial downside that I found immediately and that the marketing pictures don't show though is the massive connective cable that adds 60% to the width that the unit takes up with the expansion battery stored on top. This was not ideal but I could live with it. I next tried to charge the expansion battery through my C1000 and hit the first issue. It wouldn't accept charge. The manual says to contact Anker support direct rather than the retails so I did. Anker said it was likely a firmware issue with my C1000 as the BP1000 was a new product. I stuck with them through several rounds of trial and error to get the battery to charge with the battery slowly depleting down to 0% and completely refused to accept any charge. Factory resets and various firmwares had no impact. Eventually Anker advised to return the battery to them but said I'd have to arrange and they'd refund me afterwards the courier cost and then send me a new unit. They advised not to use UPS but that any other company should be fine. This is a lie. I've tried every mainline courier and even some small delivery companies. No one will touch a battery over 100Wh that isn't brand new and being sent direct from the retailer. If it's a return and potentially faulty battery they just flat out refuse. I've tried everything but short of driving it myself to Wales I have no way of "returning" the item for the warranty claim. I asked Anker to arrange the courier collection direct as they obviously can ship out new items but they refused, stating "We regret to inform you that we currently face challenges in providing an effective shipping option in the UK." This is a massive issue. Also if anyone was thinking of not disclosing the contents of a parcel and risk sending a prohibited item (it did briefly cross my mind out of desperation) just be aware that if found out you will lose the item and are personally liable for any costs the courier can justify as damages for breaching their T&Cs and also costs for disposing of the item. I assume it will impact not just Anker but all other manufacturers as well, but it completely invalidates any of their warranty period claims as no used large capacity batteries (>100Wh) can be returned by any UK postal services. Anker claim 5 years on their products but I can't even get help when the item is faulty on arrival. I'm now seriously worried that if I have any issues with my other battery packs even within their warranty periods that they will basically be worthless and I also won't be able to get any support. Until there is a way to return batteries safely for warranty claims I'm afraid I'll be steering clear.

Anker Solix C1000 power station
I found this item to be an excellent expansion battery station. It is very integral with my C1000 and comes with its very own jumper cable. Sit the unit on top of the main station and plug in the connecting cable, then connect A/C power to the mains and the unit will kick into life. On the main display there is everything u need to know about both units. How much power is in both of them. There is a clear amount of power being displayed at the top of the screen showing what’s in the expansion box. Once the power station charges to full that’s when the power will go to this expansion battery. Please note: only the C1000 has the ability to connect an expansion battery, you can’t connect one to the C1000 Gen 2 Overall it’s a great unit that can come in 2000 and 3000 w/h

A great way to expand your C1000 to 2,112 watt hours
Great way to extend the capability of your C1000. If you’re a functional nerd like I am, note that when connected to your C1000, the add-on battery will discharge first. When recharging, the main C1000 unit will recharge first. With the two batteries connected, your C1000 will provide 2,112 watt hours of power. I’m very impressed with the entire setup. I have powered my Instant Pot pressure cooker at the same time as an induction burner, pulling nearly 1700 watts when both until we’re drawing power at the same time. The Anker never missed a beat. Cooking an entire family dinner with a pressure cooker and induction burner used about 50% of the expansion battery. Meaning if you were using it for cooking at camp or during a power outage, you can cook about 4 times, and for a small family or a couple this would result in a ton of food! Personally I have two Harbor Freight 100 watt solar panels connected together to recharge the unit and, here in sunny Nevada, I’ve literally never had to plug my Anker into the wall to recharge. My main point is a couple of affordable solar panels and some common sense about power usage and you could get by for weeks on an Anker C1000 with this expansion battery connected. I’ve found that making one cup of coffee with my K-cup machine uses about 3% of the expansion battery capacity. And, as your fridge only sips power occasionally (unless you open the door a LOT), it would keep your fridge running for a very long time. Practically indefinitely if you leave solar panels hooked up consistently in a sunny location. I also bought a 400 watt folding solar panel which charges it up even faster. It will take up to 600W input via solar.

Anker products are the best and this Battery expansion is no exception!
The ability to double the capacity of my Anker power bank (CP1000) is fantastic. I love Anker products across the board and I am never disappointed with them. This battery hooked up with no issues and should really allow me to use my power bank as an emergency backup for several things in the house should the power go out. In the winter time this will help me keep the house warm and the food cold. And in the summer I use this for camping and to power things when I'm away from the grid. Doubling the capacity means even less worrying. And coupled with my solar panels I can keep things going hopefully for a lot longer. The battery is stylish and matches the power back. It fits right on top and both can be lifted together without too much issue (it might be heavy for some but I could handle it no problem). These are solidly built, and super high quality. The ten year life expectancy is also a huge plus. The Black Friday deal put this at under $400 and that was also a huge incentive to buy. I know Anker products are worth the price but a nearly half off deal made this a great value for the price. Highly recommend. Would be great for Van-Life folks, campers, survivalists and off the grid living.
