REAPER Vandorendra, Snake Demon (1) Miniature

I don't mind the Bones line of Reaper models, but some are better than others in terms of quality, and unfortunately this models is on the lower end of quality (material wise). The sculpt itself is very nice, with lots of detail, although the weapons have a lot of flash and are difficult to remove since the material is so soft. Painting was easy enough, but like all Reaper Bone products, I had to wash the model thoroughly in warm soapy water to remove the release agent residue. If it wasn't for the material being so soft, I'd rank this much higher. I know at this time Reaper has changed their Bones formula to be more rigid, so hope they do a reprint of this model with the new material. Until then, its an average model, albeit a very soft and bendy one.

This is a gift for my son so I am unable to rate it. It was on his wish list. I will ask him after Christmas if he was pleased with the item.

This was a blast to paint! Used Lady Vashj from World of Warcraft as a reference and she came out so damn cute. Definitely recommend you buy this!

This is a really cool miniature. The detail on it is great and I can’t wait to paint it. I will be using it for dnd and it’s perfectly sized. I would recommend this to others.

A very good model to simply use for gameplay itself. For me, I like to paint figures and the Reaper models have an odd wax coating, or something, that leaves them permanently sticky after painting them. Still good models and they can be painted, just stay sticky afterwards.
