Better quality
Having tried another TT product, I noticed the simple act of stirring into the Kitties food was quicker and more easily absorbed, (theyre not eating around the blob) Aramis has cells showing cancerous features. Dude and Moët are 16+ years old and having Sr. issues with their Kidneys. Can’t definitively say specific positive changes but am using for Immune Health. Happy that the Mushroom Dude is involved

Turkey tail
My dog has Cushing's disease and this powder has helped his immune system. He takes it with his medication and we can see a great improvement in the way he is now more active and playful.

Great product for allergies
This is an amazing product that has helped my poodles ear infections that she had for over 4 years and now she doesn't. I recommend it to anyone!

Good quality
Good quailty mushroom powder. I buy this over other brand as I trust Paul S. I have bought other stuff and it seems cheap and no good. Smells good and tastes good

Powerful stuff
**Update**I don’t think this stuff contributed to my malaise.Basically in August 2019 had to do a round of antibiotics for an infection. October 2019 went to national park and somehow got walking pneumonia. I ordered this stuff and a bunch of other supplements because I had felt great since the antibiotics. Got sick in Feb before the first “official” cases of covid were discovered while visiting a future covid hotspot. Was really unwell from Feb to July with awful symptoms which I now suspect we’re potentially due to covid.I don’t think the Turkey tail negatively impacted me, I think if anything there is a potential that the reason I didn’t become much more ill is because I was taking this stuff along with creatine monohydrate and niagen.I haven’t confirmed it was covid with an antibody test yet, but I can’t think of any other explanation for what occurred for the last six months and the symptoms match. If it was covid, I barely felt it during the fever and cough part of it. I was only sick for a few days, although the dry cough lasted weeks. That being said, I might take this stuff again in the future.**update**After stopping this I got the flu. I went from feeling completely fine in the morning to omg I’m dying. Had a fever approaching 104. It was the fastest and most intense onset of a flu I’ve ever had. My fever was gone and I was back on my feet after being bed ridden for 2 days. I think this stuff caused the intense reaction and fast recovery. I think the immune system is extremely complex and that I don’t fully understand how it works. I think I’ll restart this stuff after doing some allergy testing but I’m not going to hit it as hard.’m pretty sure this stuff works but it did not make me feel better. I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars for now. I haven’t felt great since I got mono like 10 years ago. Not like crazy sick, just like - I get tired easy, and sometimes when I get run down I notice it feels like a mild case of mono. I thought maybe I have some latent ebv or something and I can get it cleaned up with some of this, a little monolaurin, and some l-lysine. I started noticing that I felt like I was sensitive to certain foods with allergy symptoms. My body feels achy, and a few minutes ago I was playing with my dog and a scratch he gave me welted up pretty bad. I never get welts. So I think I just hit this stuff too hard and mixed it with too many other things, but I do think it’s doing something. I’m going to take a break from it for a while and let my system settle down and then I’ll do a much lower dose. I was taking 2tsp a day, which is what paul stamets said his mom was taking when she had cancer. I think the radiation suppresses the immune system so much that this dose isn’t a problem.

Wolves eat TT in the wild, when they are ill.
I’ve been taking Host Defense powders for a while now, for myself, and I really like them. This larger size is a great value. Because I trust the safety and effectiveness of this brand, I purchased this one for my older dog, after reading about turkey tail and its effect on dogs’ immune systems. Honestly, it’s like having a younger dog again. She’s much perkier and more active, with improved mood and mobility. More alert and bright eyed. Her gut microbiome seems to be improving as well. 10/10 would do again.

Helpful for bad breath in my dog
I've been using this for about a year. My dog had bad breath and recently had teeth cleaned. I found the mushrooms helped this quite a bit.
