I've already got a couple Mora's and they all take and hold a very sharp edge without too much work on my Ken Onion sharpener and a little stropping. This one is exceptional as well, with an outstanding "price-value". Normally I am not too pleased with a plastic sheath, but for a salt/wet environment - this one "locks" in the blade nicely, is easy to hang on my belt or vest or sling pack, and makes the knife quickly accessible. The stainless is excellent. Yes, you will be a spot of rust here and there in the salt - which is easily rubbed off with steel wool and a spot of oil. Sandvik is a very good quality of stainless steel with good hardness for a hard working knife.
