I'm thinking of getting a second one, to increase catering options on camping trips. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Frodo had one of these, The Lord of The Rings would have been a much shorter movie. *by C***S on 5 October 2025* I bought one as a wok burner because I had been using a standard camping stove and it just wasn't hot enough. I needed something with a bit more oomph, and this delivers exactly what I needed, with a bit extra in reserve. It burns comfortably at around 4kw, double what I can get from the old stove, and more importantly, I can use a standard screw in gas cannister instead of shelling out over a ton for a big 5kg bottle and regulator. A 500g can will do 3-5 half hour burns, depending on what you're cooking. If you flip the gas cannister upside down so that you're using liquid rather than gas, it will burn at 10-11kw. It has a cooling chamber built in so that it's safe, but be very careful if you use that function, and never use it on a burner that isn't specifically designed for it. This is a brilliantly well designed and thought out unit, and it's built like a tank too, so there's no worries about it tipping over or failing when I'm cooking. Make sure you open a window if you're using it indoors though. It does burn extremely hot, and can be a bit greedy with the gas, but if you need something that can get your pans up to a decent temperature this is just the job.
