I love this pretty parasol to protect me from the hot summer sun where o live. I have medical issues that make it so I can’t be out in the hot sun without feeling ill after too long, so this is super helpful. It provides good sun coverage, it’s thick enough that the sun doesn’t go through it at all. The cost of it is comparable to what it does and how it looks. It retracts easily and becomes small, the only issue is that it can be a trifle of a struggle to smush it all together to clasp it back together to put it back in the little carrying case. Overall I love it and would get in different colors as well.

absolutely love it. I was already a vampire with my distaste for the sun, plus living in sunny and hot places like Savannah and Hong Kong were torturous... carrying around this parasol made me the envy of all! Sturdy, beautiful, blocks like 98% of the light and easily becomes compact. Durable in the rain too- I basically use this anytime I go outside! (Even in the water! My family laughed at me for bringing it in, but I was the only one who wasn't sunburned that day) Pair it with a folding fan and you'll be comfortable no mater where you are outside. I had my parasol for nearly 6 years of daily use before I had to buy a second one- and that was only because submerging the handle in water during my beach trips got rust in places I couldn't clean.. totally my fault LOL

I wanted to like this product more but I have to say - it's just not very easy to put away or take out. The umbrella feels a bit flimsy and takes about 30 to 45 seconds of messing with the metal joints so that it doesn't open inside out. The material feels nice (typical umbrella material) and I thought the jewels hanging off of the bottom (as well as the rose shape at the handle) adds a lot to the style. The bag it comes in looked more like a bag you'd receive from a sensual adult website lol, but it is nice that they give you a bag to tote the umbrella around in. I have tried multiple times to re-tie the umbrella back up so it would fit easily back into the bag, but I am quickly noticing that this is a lot harder than it looks. The umbrella simply is already very large for the bag it comes in and felt shoved in tightly from the factory, which could be a bit cumbersome if you intend to have the bag with you as a legitimate carrying bag for the umbrella. Also, I felt from the advertised photos that the umbrella would have more of a "dome" shape to it, however I noticed upon opening the umbrella that it is very close to a regular umbrella's size. I feel that the angle taken in the product photo may have been a tad misleading. Though, this is not a selling point for me and it will work just as well. I bought this as a prop for a music video, and I am happy to say it will do the job. However, for the average person taking this for style or looks, I feel the umbrella may be a bit too bulky to be practical. Besides that, the product arrived on time and without any damage, scuffs, or flaws. I am a happy camper.

Bought this for Halloween as a prop for inside our little haunted house. I added beads and fringe to it, which all looked amazing, I am very happy with it. That said, it was only up on display for a few days so I have no real idea about how it will hold up long term. All I can say is that it is really pretty, appears to be very well made and was a perfect prop for our 2nd line themed haunted house, so I gave it 5 stars. The only "Con", it was hard to get it back into its carrying pouch even before I modified it with the beads & fringe. But the little pouch was nice too and made a great little purse prop for a skeleton, so that was a win, win for me.

So I got this umbrella for my daughter's cosplay but the little screw on knob at the bottom of the handle actually broke. It wasn't dropped at all. It literally broke after pulling it out for it's first official use. Just fell off onto the ground. Aside from the knob, the umbrella does work well and is decent for the price.

It works smoothly and is attractive.

When you open the umbrella,it doesn't open with a push button, you need to slide it all the way up then pay up until it clicks, by that time you're all wet from the rain. It takes to long to open. It also opens wrong, it folds up, upside down and you have to grab and pulled all angles to have it set correctly. When you try to fold it back, you can't, it bunches up.
