Nutramax Dasuquin Senior Joint Supplement for Large Dogs Soft Chews 84ct

Not sure if it just lined up that way or what, but my old fuzzball is much more active since being on these. Also, he's very picky about food, and every other supplement gets spit out, but he believes these are treats, so I guess that means they taste yummy to him! Glad i purchased these, will reorder!

Works well, have been giving it to my 14 year old lab for months. I do see better mobility with walking and jumping. However, she hates the taste and I have to mask it with gravy or peanut butter.

I have a 200 lb English mastiff who is 10, called Sampson, who started having trouble getting up. And then one day he just couldn't do it. I weight 135 lbs, I couldn't carry him and there are no dog ambulances anywhere, I considered calling the human ambulance or at least the fire company, who came and helped me get him into my car. I took him to the vet. The vet said. nothing was broken, he was just in pain, most likely, they gave me 600 dollars worth of pain meds which made him loopy and confused, he was bumping into stuff which is very alarming when the dog is 200 lbs. He also was even less energetic than usual which - btw- his energy level is like 2/100 on a good day. I started him on dasuquin, within 2 days he was up and about better than ever. then I slowly weaned him off the pain meds, and now he is just as he was and even better. His energy level is now at least 5/100- He was a 10/100 as a puppy, and he actually fence fights and get up when called immediately. he doesn't cry anymore. I hope to get at least another 2-3 years out of my boy inshallah. I give him just 1 pill a day and it's some of the best money i've spent on my dog. I wish they made some for humans. also he is a very picky eater but he loves the chews, I just pop em in with his food or as a treat. I haven't seen any side effects and I give him the max dose as he is a giant, senior. The effectiveness if off the charts. Please make one for humans.

My senior dog had been limping quite a bit over the past 6 months due to getting getting older (almost 10). She has been taking the Senior version for a little over 3 weeks and they have made a huge difference—she isn’t limping! She loves the taste and thinks they are a treat. Highly recommend.

I was really hopeful that these would work for my dog, but he absolutely would not eat these. I tried putting peanut butter on them or hiding them in chicken and stuff like that but he would always just spit them out. I did end up gifting 2 bags to someone on a local Facebook page because apparently their dogs really like them and they were happy to get them, but I won’t be buying them in the future for my dog unfortunately.

I give these to my 10 year old lab as she has hip issues. Her mobility is so much better with these supplements. A great tip: Try giving your dog a treat first and then pretend these are treats and they will take them without any hesitation. These work a lot better than the tablets that our veterinarian prescribed to us.

I believe it makes my senior dog feel better. And his mouth waters before i give it to him.

The smell of these almost smell like puke. I was wondering why my dog wouldn’t eat these, and the smell of the bag was so awful. We couldn’t get through it because she refused to take them which I understood by the rancid smell.
