Let me just say, I live in hawaii and it gets real hot in the summer. These swaddle blankets were a life saver when I came home from the hospital with a hot, sweaty crying newborn. My baby will be a year old in 2 weeks, and we still use these EVERYDAY. The more you wash them, the softer they get. Here are all the different ways I use them : As an infant swaddle blanket. They stay cool when hot, and keep them warm when a little chilly. As a sunshade to cover to carseat or stroller. Also protects from the wind. My baby is fair-skinned, so I cover his little legs when we go for walks in the afternoon. At the beach I would drape it over the carseat so the sand wouldn't blow in his face. As a sheet-blanket, in the crib since I stopped swaddling him. They are totally breathable so you don't have to worry about their little faces getting covered. As a comfort item for him to sleep with, ride in the car with, and he loves to chew or suck on the ends. I figured it was better than a specific doll or toy, since these are replaceable, and now he totally associates them and calms down when it nap time. I am expecting another baby in a few months, and I am sure these will last a very long time. Worth every penny and then some.

I've been purchasing aden + anais muslin blankets for decades and these are my 'go to' blankets for the children in our program. They last for years, even decades with weekly washing. The quality far surpasses any blankets I've used. The printed patterns do fade over the years with weekly washing and use 5 days a week, but that fading usually happens after a couple years and is still discernable, just faded. I do not however use as a swaddling blanket, we use as a nap blanket for our 18mo/+ group of children. They love having their own printed design, which helps them identify their special blanket. These are long enough to cover our kiddos ages up to 4 years. The softness is unsurpassed.

These are my daughter's favorite blankets! We've had them from birth and my toddler is still in love with hers! Now I buy them for all my new mommy friends! When I was pregnant I decided not to buy any because they were expensive, and I had received a ton of blankets at my baby shower. But I received in a big bag of hand-me-downs from a friend and since then it has been a favorite. When I received it, it had been used previously for about a year and it still looked almost new. We've had it for over 18 months now and it is still going strong with no stains or tears! We live in Florida and its humid and hot here almost all year round, so lightweight blankets are a must for swaddling. I used this even in the winter layered with some of her other blankets because her A&A one was her favorite. When she was too old to swaddle (she didn't really like it once she learned that her legs could do entertaining things), she liked to hold it and sometimes teethe on the edge, which never frayed even after she got some teeth. Then she started daycare and she took it with her every day for naptime. Since she's been talking she calls it her "beetie", she has no names for her other blankets. She isn't super attached to it like some kids are to their blankets or other lovies, but this one definitely has a special place in her heart compared to the others. I find myself washing it more often, and if I ask her which blanket she would rather have, she chooses the same one every time. We've used it to block the sun while she napped in her stroller or carseat, its caught tons of spit up, and we've laid it on the floor or ground for her to play on. I eventually did buy some when I was asked to photograph a friend's newborn baby. I had seen somewhere that someone had bought a bunch of A&A blankets and used them as backdrops for newborn photos and I decided to do the same. They were perfect. The colors are just muted enough to provide a backdrop that won't steal the attention from the baby, but they are adorable enough to compliment the theme of the photos. I got a 4 pack at Target during a sale and have never regretted it. The pictures were too sweet, the mom was thrilled, and I had 4 new A&A blankets! They are small so they don't take up a lot of room like a big backdrop might. I found a ton of different ways to use them in the pictures, and I only had 4! In short, these blankets are comfy, lightweight, durable enough to use for multiple kids, way bigger than your average flannel receiving blanket (so they can swaddle baby as they grow, and eventually use as regular blanket), and have multiple uses. These are 100% worth every penny.

When I was looking to purchase swaddling blankets for my newborn baby girl, I thought spending $35 for 4X blankets is a little too much given these are muslin blankets meant for summer months. I was dead wrong. Luckily I got these as presents from a friend. And boy, these are the best baby gifts I got. Pros: 1. Large enough to swaddle a 8lb baby easily. 2. Very durable (I wash them almost 3 times a week). Given they are muslin one would imagine they would apart with heavy use. Nope. 3. Very breathable. Surprisingly this feature of this product is useful not only during sweaty, hot summer months, but also applicable in fall and winter. We all have heating on in our houses in winter. So one really doesn't need heavy flannel swaddling blankets. One needs breathable blankets. 4. Very absorbing. My baby had severe GERD and for the first month, spit-up after almost every other feeding. And these blankets soaked up in no time. I would spread them around her during feeding time in case she spit-up. 5. Very lightweight. Easily tucks into the stroller seat when we go for walks. Sure I put a heavy blanket on top if it is cold. 6. Does not stain easily. May be because they are muslin, they don't stain, not even with all those spit-ups. I do wash them briefly by hand if they have spit-ups before throwing them into the washer. Cons: Surprisingly can't think of any. $35 for 4X swaddle blankets is a little expensive, but worth every penny. I already bought a set to give away as gifts. From now onwards, I plan to give them as baby-shower gifts.

Very soft and just what my new grandson needed!!

I got the "farm to table" set and honestly they bring me so much joy when I wrap up my little newborn. Such cute patterns! The wraps are large enough to do a really good swaddle. My only complaint is that, after washing, the muslin fabric seemed to get scratchier. Still love them and would recommend.

I'm one who doesn't always care about brand names, but in this case, I stick with aden + anais. The blankets are durable, lightweight, and so much larger than the Target brands or other cheaper knock offs. It's worth it for something you're going to use for a long time. My daughter has autism and still carries her blankets around occasionally. They were awesome for swaddling, wash up well and have been WELLLLLLL loved. Some have gotten holes but my daughter is now 9 so I would say that we got our money's worth out of the blankets we've had.

I absolutely love these swaddles! They’re generously large and made of soft cotton, which makes them so versatile. I first used them with my daughter 6 years ago, and we still use them today – that’s how durable they are. What I love most is that with every wash they get even softer, without losing quality. The size is perfect for swaddling, but we’ve also used them as stroller covers, lightweight blankets, nursing covers, and even as comfort blankets as my kids got older.
