Good isolation shield
I haven't had a lot of time with it, but I seem to be getting very good results recording using my Shure SM7B along with this isolation shield in my recording space. It's not able to be tightened perfectly where nothing moves, but I was able to tighten it enough to keep everything in the right place. All things considered, I think it's very good and worth the price.

Worked great for me!
I'm recording vocals for a new project in a control room that isn't treated for vocals, so I needed something to help isolate the mic. After some research I landed on the kaotica eyeball and Aston halo. Both very expensive options, more than I wanted to spend for this project. After more research I found this Aokeo shield which appeared to have a similar design to the Aston halo. So I figured I'd give it a try. I'm using a Nos Audio C12 replica with the pattern selector to full unidirectional and an UA Volt 276 audio interface. I recorded takes with and without the Aokeo isolation shield, and I definitely like the results with the shield much better. To describe the difference, without the shield the vocal sounded hollow, thin (lacked bottom end), and I could hear some room noise (slight reverb). With the shield, I'd describe it as more transparent and direct "true" sound/tone. The vocal sounded fuller with slightly more bottom end without losing any top end, and definitely more isolated! Overall the shield helped me achieve that well balanced and full vocal sound I was after, with better isolation. I was very pleased with the results!! The shield itself is of good build quality and light weight. Comes with a desktop stand, which isn't something I'm likely to use, but nice that it is there if I need it! To make the shield work with my setup I did have to purchase a separate 90* mic stand elbow, so just keep that in mind depending on what mic you plan to use.

Reduces ambient sound
This reduces ambient sound. Noticeably! It is not the same as having a sound isolation Booth, which is what some people are looking for. That would be magic! My only complaint is that it is so large that it takes up a lot of space on my desk. The weight is low and it is easy to use. It seems well made. I have not compared it to any other device on Amazon. I have previously used down comforters to surround my computer setup and I think they are better than this. Still, this is easier to use!

You Can't Attach It To A Mic Stand!!!
I can't vouch for how well it reduces room reflection because I was never able to get it attached to my mic stand. I've looked at all the included hardware and the instructions and there is only ONE panel in the "instructions" which is just a picture with no explanation. The picture makes no sense, as it shows the filters just attaching to the top of the mic stand. There is NO threaded part on the reflection filter that would allow this. There is no hardware included that can remedy this. In the instructions, they mostly promote this product as a tabletop piece. I can't imagine who would be using it like that. I'll either just send it back or see if I have some hardware laying around that allows me to modify this to work. I shouldn't have to modify things to get this to work on a mic stand. That's ridiculous!

Great overall
The product is worth the investment, only issue I had was that the product came damaged/stained.. or something like that. As long as it doesn't lower the product performance ..I'll survive just Everytime I use I see it 😅

Perfect
This thing is great for recording audio. I used it to record vocals for music and I couldn’t be happier. Used with a SHURE sm7b.

Cheap but works. I haven't tried an expensive one to compare
