TARO Adapalene 0.1% USP Gel, Paraben Free, Retinoid Acne-Prone Facial Treatment for Sensitive Skin, Prescription Strength (1.6 Oz)

Adapalene has been a game changer for me. I have mature skin and don't have breakouts to speak of. I do--did--have some chicken-skin texture on my temples and under my chin. I have used retinols including tretinoin and salicylic and glycolic acids, mostly for wrinkles and some stubborn rosacea spots with good but not stellar results. One day, I watched a dermatologist's video on the best products for aging skin, and she recommended Adapalene followed by Am-Lactin. Ohhhh Myyy! It's not as irritating as some of the other products are to me. It's erasing my chicken skin bumps! I'm still waiting on some of the rosacea areas to calm down, but they are much better. I've begun using it on my neck and decolletage, but not every day. Amazing! I have been cautious and am alternating with skin barrier protection and moisturizers (and sunscreen!). I am so pleased with my results and the improved value with this combo vs. the other products I was using. As always, your mileage may vary. Start gently and see if you have found the right product for you.

If you've tried prescription grade Tretinoin before, then you know how hard the initial few weeks to months of usage can be! Before when I tried Tretinoin, I was unable to stay consistent due to all the side effects (redness, flaking, dryness), but this Adapalene gel has given me none of these side effects! My skin has done really well with this gel. It absorbs well, does not irritate my skin, and does not dry it out! I have fairly dry skin, so this is a huge concern for me. You will absolutely still need moisturizer, but that's a given with any of these types of products. Great value for money as well! Would absolutely repurchase, especially since I read other reviews online that this particular brand is cleaner than some other Adapalene brands.

I have this on subscription for my son with sensitive skin. Adapalene is probably one I’d the best skincare products you can use. Dermatologists will tell you this amazing product will help with acne, and general skincare appearance. It helps correct dark spots as well. The price is so budget friendly.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to come back and share my experience because I’m genuinely impressed with the difference in my skin. I started using this product consistently when I was dealing with active breakouts, inflammation, dark spots, and uneven texture on my cheeks and jawline. I took a ‘before’ picture so I could actually track my progress instead of relying on memory. After sticking with it, the improvement has been incredible. My skin looks much clearer and smoother, I’m getting fewer noticeable breakouts, and the marks left behind from previous acne have faded significantly. Even the overall tone and texture of my skin look so much better. I included my before-and-after photos because that’s what I personally look for when I’m reading skincare reviews. The first photo was taken when I started, and the second shows my skin now. Obviously everyone’s skin is different, but I’m extremely happy with my results.The biggest thing I’d recommend is consistency. This wasn’t an overnight transformation, but seeing the difference over time made it completely worth it. I finally feel confident about how my skin looks again. Great affordable option for adapalene 0.1% over the counter. Indistinguishable from the more expensive brands.

This product helped get my painful, tender acne on my cheeks and chin under control. 1.I had to build up my tolerance gradually, starting with 1–2 applications per week before increasing frequency. 2. I only use it at night (photosensitivity) and always follow with a moisturizer. You might see dry, flaky patches of skin as you build up tolerance. 3. As an added bonus, this version costs less than the name-brand version. I’ve seen significant improvement in active breakouts, though I’m still working on post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) from previous acne. Overall, it’s been effective for managing my acne and preventing new blemishes.

Vale la pena, Un viaje de 3 meses usando este producto, realmente al inicio es lo peor por la sensibilidad y resequedad, salen muchos brotes como por un mes, el famoso efecto purga pero con una constancia de uso diario por las noches, con un chicharito y crema hipoalergenica de cerave ha rendido frutos y estoy mejor que nunca, aún me falta mejorar y tratar mis cicatrices pero ha sido una gran decisión
