A great souvenir

I buy this yearly for my husband's birthday. He's an avid F1 fan and couldn't imagine a year without it. This year's edition is larger than the previous years, so he was happy with the additional content. I was surprised in the packaging. Previous orders, the book was shrunk wrapped to a larger piece of cardboard that kept it snug inside the shipping box. This year, the book was loose inside the box & as a result, the book jacket ripped which was disappointing he keeps them in pristine condition.

I love these books! They’re very collectible and the photography along with the insights provided are great for any F1 fan!!

This is a great annual. Well produced.

I own every copy of Autocourse since 1976 except two. If you are a fan of F1 or work in F1 this is the book you get. Extensive coverage of F1 with race reports and stats of every race and the entire season. In depth reports on each team. Features on Hamilton, Ferrari, Red Bull and Frank Williams. Always controversial drivers top ten list based on the editor's opinion. Great photos through out by Peter J. Fox and crew. Also very good multi page synopsis of just about every other major paved racing series including F2, GP3, FV8 3.5, F3, FE, WEC,Touring Cars, NASCAR and IndyCars. For all this I would give the book 5 stars as usual. Unfortunately the packaging was atrocious. Looks like when the book was packaged it was shoved in to a tight bubble wrap that badly damaged the cover. Considering these books quickly become collectors items with copies from the 50's, 60's and 70's now worth in the thousands of dollars this is unacceptable. If you look at the other review it seems that I am not alone. Shipping also took almost two weeks. So I give it 1 star for packaging with a total of 3 stars.

Brilliant book. My son is 46 and I have bought him this book every year since he was about 12. The book is as interesting to him now as it was when he was a child.

As described, sent promptly, good condition. Another gap in my collection plugged.

Excellent book, as usual, at a great price. 4 stars due to the, frankly rubbish, packaging. Oversized box allows the unprotected book rattle around and damage the jacket and corners(we all know how our packages are treated by couriers).

Usual comprehensive review of last year's F1 with sections on WEC, Formula 2, Indy etc.
