Omni Anal Glands Dog Supplements – Pro Fibre Chews with Apple Pectin

The tub and chews were smaller than expected but I did op for the small ones. My dog likes them although he chewed the first few then swallowed the rest. We are on day 9 and the first day or so, his bowel was very soft but now it's calmed down and working properly. I still use a few of the other pellet ones I brought previously in his food too as his a.glans were not good. But so far so good. A little pricey but I'd do anything for my little sausage dog! Might try the gut ones too?

I've been waiting to write this review but I now think this product actually works. I have a little staffy that suffers terribly from numerous sensitivities and seems to need her anal glands emptied regularly. After a recent bad bout I tried these supplements. It took a good few days but she has calmed down alot, not licking so much and the scooting has abated somewhat. It's not irradicated the problem completely as we know she has sensitivities but I'm very pleased with the progress. Pup readily eats the product, it's a good size and obviously smells interesting to her.

They are doing something but it's slow. My dog has been having these every day for a few months. He still needs his glands expressed but they are not as full when they are done and we are starting to move the appointments further apart. They did get to 4 weeks because he was in such discomfort. At the moment they are 5 weeks apart and if the improvement continues they will move to 6 weeks. We have also improved his diet so it's not an exact science as to how much improvement is down to these.

My Miniature Schnauzer had been having problems with his Anal Glands, requiring a trip to the vets every 4 weeks, which was distressing for us both! Bit gutted as neither of my dogs will touch these treats. One is fussy but the other one eats anything and is very food obsessed! Money down the drain. Won't even touch them mashed up or disguised as something tasty.
