SuperATV Flip Windshield for Honda Pioneer 1000 / 1000-5 | Scratch-Resistant Clear Windshield, 2016+, Hard Coated, USA Made, Easy Install

This is a sweet windshield and a perfect fit for my 2018 Pioneer 1000-5 with factory hard top. I really like this windshield! As others have said the install is hard but doesn’t have to be if Superatv would just step up with correct install documentation. It’s baffling that they don’t. There were no instructions or images to go by. The YouTube video is wrong, don’t trust it, you’ll think you are missing hardware. It was all there. A few notes; you will have to remove and reinstall things like mirrors, hard roof mounts, etc. install the lower windshield first and loosely, it will start to make sense as you go, there are two roll bar mounts included for the lower section. Once you get everything thing in loosely take your time lining it all up. They did a good job slotting all the mounts so you can line it up. There is more hardware than you will use so be sure to use the rubber washer hardware that contacts the windshield and don’t over torque. Take your time and you will be pleased. Superatv, c’mon Man, step up and do some decent instructions, shame on you guys.

I do like the product and was happy to discover that it does fit the 24 Honda Pioneer 1000-5. The instructions included were for a different model of windshield and utv. It took me a minute to confirm it was the correct fit. And then I had to figure out the install. Look at the pictures in the reviews, this does mount to the roof bar as well as the side bars. Couple of nuts missing for the gas shocks but I found them at the hardware store. Taking it out in a bit to see if it scratches. May update review.

Installed this on a Pioneer 1000 5 Deluxe and have been running it for about 300 miles. Installed it by myself, including assembly the process took about 3 hours start to finish. Instructions were good and installation was not difficult. Overall it seems like a nice windshield, but I do have a few complaints. There is pretty significant gapping on each of the ends near the roll cage where the flip top meets the fixed lower portion. At the widest section (against the cage) the gap is nearly an inch wide, gradually getting smaller towards the middle. It doesn’t seem to affect performance at all, I have been out in torrential downpours and it doesn’t let water through. It does however give the flip up portion of the windshield a slightly bowed look which I am not a fan of. Also, this windshield bounces pretty hard around the latch in the middle when going over bumps at speed. Again, doesn’t effect the windshields performance but it is kind of disappointing considering its cost. It is an effective windshield for the price, just as long as you are content with a few purely aesthetic flaws.

Product exactly as described! Highly recommend. It will take a bit of adjustments to get the best fit. With that said it costs a fraction of what the Honda Windshield costs! I am very pleased with this product.

Wow. To say I’m impressed would be an understatement. I’ve got a 2016 Honda pioneer 1000-5The pictures of the windshield online are an accurate representation of what you’re getting. I couldn’t find the installation instructions, but there was not need anyway.I love the way the company packaged this… most of the nuts and bolts were already in place, so I just had to loosen them, and retighten as I installed it. Much better than getting a big bag of hardware and not knowing what is what.All the mounting holes are slotted, so it can be adjusted perfectly to fit and align nicely.I did not have to do any trimming or customization either. Plug and play, and looks factory original imo.5 stars all day!

Installed on our 2018 Pioneer 1000-5 in about 2 hrs. Great instructions with a color picture of the gas strut bracket orientation. Crystal clear, leave protective coating on during install, you'll want to enjoy that scratch free view for at least awhile! Bottom and middle gaskets fit perfect, seal is great. Very minor gap, nothing to worry about. Bottom gasket is intentionally a little long so we used the extra on the side edges of the bottom windshield. Covered the small gaps on either side. Quality justifies the price. Latch system, gas shocks, seem to work well. Will edit review if time and use proves different.One of the four black L-shaped plastic brackets on the top half was broken during shipping. Took a picture before completely unpacking, called Kevin at SuperATV, emailed him pic while on the phone and he shipped a replacement that day no paperwork no fuss! SuperATV handled it even though we purchased through Amazon.Highly recommend this windshield and SuperATV!

Save your money, fairly easy to install, much cheaper than dealer installed windshield. Only had for a year so far so good. Need to take care when cleaning, follow manufacturer recommendations.

Got my windshield on Friday afternoon and got help Saturday afternoon so we installed it. Had the strut brackets installed backwards and after we got it together and adjusted we pulled the blue plastic off only to find 3 big scratches. It kinda bums you out after about 3 hours you find out all that work and you have a scratched windshield. Going to contact super atv. Monday morning. I will update when I make contact with them.
