PERFECT SATIN FINISH
I recently decided to stretcher mount a reproduction on canvas of an oil painting I had rolled up in a plastic pipe for about 7 years measuring about 45"x37". Once having gently wiped the repro clean I sought to apply a satin varnish to both protect and enhance the work, not knowing whether the applied paint was oil or acrylic. Not to worry - on a warm breezeless day I sprayed the painting gently outside without over-applying, which dried pretty rapidly with speedy loss of odour. I am delighted with the result and have plenty of varnish left should I wish to apply another fine coat. This product is superb.

Sprays evenly no clogging
Excellent product. Works very well on mixed media acrylic painting. Applied three layers waiting a day between each layer of varnish. The paintings appear richer with a professionally finish.

I'm a big fan of these spray varnishes for oil and acrylic paintings. I spray in continuous horizontal stripes while outside and leave to dry. They layer well.

Nozzle problems on the second one too
Beautiful finish for my paintings, but the nozzle its a problem, so I will go back to W&N

Spay for paintings
I've been using this satin spray vanish over my Acrylic paintings for over a year ..keeps colour well and doesn't Fade so very pleased with this make ..It does say for oil paintings but as I said I spray over my paintings with no problem .
