Has anyone used it just plain in hot water for a drink? I see most of the reviewers used it in recipes. I'm looking for a satisfying beefy taste.

A round about answer: Person below mentions replacing coffee. I've been making turmeric paste using instead of water, herbed bone broth. I used to drink it alone like a tea. I too drink coffee. I drink Bulletproof with vanilla and cinnamon with a drop of mint oil. One day I decided to blend the two (tired of drinking two hot drinks in mornings). It works. It tastes good. Even my very VERY picky cousin liked it. So add it to your coffee or tea. Make bulletproof … add and blend it slowly at the end so you don't fractionate any proteins.
