Here's my opinion about the experience. This XY37 is the most functional of the three hands down. There are things I liked more or less on the other hoodies and I'll get into that, but if you're looking for pockets with the most functionality, I think this is it. For overall comfort (at least for planes), I did like the SCOTTeVEST the most because the microfleece was SUPER soft. Not sure how it would hold up over time/washes being so soft, but I liked that material the best. But ironically, I hated the pockets. They were all literally split inside which is supposed to serve multiple functions in one individual pocket, but it just ended up annoying me with my hands in there trying to blindly figure out what the hell I was supposed to be doing with them. I did not like the magnetic closures either. For comfort on an everyday basis though and not just planes, then it's a matter of preference. I'd say the Ayegear H13 is the "heaviest", kinda more rugged like a Carhartt hoodie feel, which I actually really like but some may not. I probably would enjoy that one best for walking around town etc where I will be more in the elements etc. I also REALLY like the zippers on the H13, they're bigger and more sturdy feeling than the rest. The two things that I missed on the H13 were the iPod earbud holders. Ugh it would be close to perfect if it had those and that was a major oversight on their part. Also there's only one chest pocket and it's on the right breast. This is great for a left-handed person I suppose but not for a right handed person. This XY37 has TWO opposite chest pockets, one horizontal and one vertical, which is awesome. Also the inner pockets are the best in terms of size for holding phone, iPad/tablet, etc. The cell phone holder on the H13 doesn't hold my iPhone 6 with slim case. It holds it but it cuts off toward the top of the phone for the touch screen material which is annoying. This XY37's pocket is good sized to accommodate bigger phones (not sure if a smaller phone would be swimming around in there because of that or not, but for my iPhone 6 it's way better.) The zippers on the inside for this XY37 are kinda small, I imagine that's to cut down on bulk and make it more "sleek", but I appreciate the bigger zippers on the H13 more. These are fine, just a bit small (for me). The SCOTTeVEST microfleece hoodie didn't even have the touchscreen material in it. I know some of their other jackets do, but to not put it in their hoodie was a big oversight. This XY37 is pretty comfortable. It's fleece-esque but not nearly as soft as SCOTTeVEST's actual microfleece. But nonetheless, it's comfortable enough. I am 6' 180lbs with average build and the Large fits me the way most Larges do, not too tight not too loose. But it always depends on your build. A person with more of a "belly" might need to go a size up. Or if you're truly going to carry EVERYTHING at once (iPads, phone, cables, gadgets etc) and literally fill all the pockets, then you would probably want a size bigger. I carry quite a bit but mostly smaller things like wallet, phone, gum, iPod, earphones, etc and not so much bulky items so my normal Large works fine. The handwarmers on this are pretty sufficient. A little "feminine" in that they're super thin, almost a silky feel. I don't really care for the design being an "extension" of the cuff that you have to tuck back under the cuff every time you put your hands in if you're not going to use them. The holes to put your thumbs through on the SCOTTeVEST are built right into the actual cuff so you either put your thumb in right away or don't. I liked that A LOT better. The H13 didn't have thumbholes/handwarmers. Not a dealbreaker for me as I usually just put my hands in the front pockets anyway if they're cold, but if you want the handwarmers then it's this or SCOTTeVEST for the win (SCOTTeVEST having the upper hand there). I do like the hoodie strings on this XY37. They're light but have a kinda cool "bead" (not sure what you call them) on the ends of the string that are kinda metallic looking and stylish and make it easier to grab and cinch. In terms of overall style for the exterior that other people will see, this one is fine but nothing that impressive. Just looks like a plain sweatshirt really. It's neither "cool" nor "uncool" in my opinion. I think the H13 is the best style by far. It's got an interesting cut/design to it and looks a bit more "urban". I live in a major city so that appeals to me. The SCOTTeVEST kinda looks like a plain Northface fleece or something. Again not really cool or uncool. Now the actual hood on this XY37 is VERY different than both the H13 and the SCOTTYeVEST because of the technology inside it. While I don't particularly care for how the inside of the hood LOOKS, I understand why it looks the way it does because of the technology attached to it (both H13 and SCOTTeVEST look like normal lined hoods). This XY37 has the facemask sewn inside against the hood lining and also the "sleep mask" is tucked under and buttoned to the top front part of the hood so you can unbutton and pull it down over your eyes to sleep. It's pretty neat. Not sure how much I'd use the facemask or the sleepmask on a regular basis, but I'd probably use the mask on some flights for sure. They were smart to make the neck pillow detachable in my opinion because I'm not a huge neck pillow guy so I probably wouldn't leave it attached anyway. But if you do like the neck pillow then you have the option of keeping it in a pocket deflated or actually attaching it inside the hood to blow up when needed. When you put the hood on your head without anything pulled out, it's a little bit bulky because of having the inner tech all snapped in there, but it's not "bad" really, just "different" feeling. Both the main zippers on the H13 and XY37 are on the left side. I assume that's a cultural thing but in the US male zippers are on the right. I thought it'd be very annoying but honestly it's not that big a deal to me once I tried it. You get used to it pretty quick. But like I said before the vertical pocket on the H13 being on the right breast and having to reach into it with your left (non dominant) hand is cumbersome. This XY37 did it right. A vertical left breast pocket and a HORIZONTAL right breast pocket (that you can access still with your right hand as well because of the horizontal placement). Let's see, anything else? I have heard SCOTTeVEST "started" all this "pocket-y" technology. Not sure if that's true. All three have their flaws in terms of stitching etc, but I'd say this XY37 had the best for that. So for me it was between the XY37 and the H13, and I just may keep em both. LOL. Because I like the style on the H13 best and it's only one pocket and one earbud holder away from being pretty perfect for me. And this XY37 has the best functionality for pockets even if it lacks a little in the style and inner zipper department. Lastly, worth the price? That's debatable. Any hoodie I've ever truly appreciated wearing has been around $50. Any cheaper and you feel a major difference. So for all the added "travel" bells and whistles these ones have? It's debatable. Not sure how I feel either way to be honest, but I don't feel like it was outrageous for what I got and am pretty happy with the decision. So there ya go for what it's worth. Global Travel Clothing, Ayegear, SEV, Nat Geo, and ExOfficio. I have traveled a lot domestically and to several foreign countries. Some for long periods of time. A travel jacket is a must for long trips. I have to say I was surprised, this jacket is fairly decent for the price. However I would not recommend it for most real world uses.Pros:1. The material is nice and not too thin.2. The feature set is good for this price point.3. Size was good for me.Cons:1. Its has some pockets that do not fully enclose. This is not secure and potentially a headache waiting to happen.2. It has some tiny pockets you can not even get your finger in.3. You can not put it in the dryer. The plastic pocket will melt.4. I am not a fan of the side open zipper for the large pocket. I like the top opening pockets.5. The inflatable pillow was an awkward attachment.Mine had some minor stitching issues and the plastic pocket is quite stiff. The left hand zipper did not bother me as this is more of an international standard. The idea of travel jackets in general are great, you can carry more and not have to get out of your seat often. I was intrigued at its price/feature set. However this is not an innovative idea, its a "me too" product compared to some of the other well established travel jackets on the market. Plus the lack of fully enclosed pockets sorta makes this not a travel jacket.If you want a really good one then you will have to spend more than $99. Yes that's a lot of cash, but they do have some worthwhile features like hidden pockets, zip-in liners, zip off sleeves etc. If you are looking for an around town or short good weather flight then this is a decent jacket.
