Will this be a problem?** A: The stickiness of the door if you are talking about the door being hard to close, is probably due to the hinges being misaligned or settling of the home over time which unfortunately goes beyond any lock, but after forcing it closed can still leave the lock misaligned with the hole in the frame that the lock bolt goes in to. However if the door closes all the way easily the stickiness of deadbolt is likely caused by the inner workings of the deadbolt itself, since the August smart only replaces the thumb turn on the inner side of the door to add smart lock capacity to the same mechanical components of the lock, it will not fix this particular problem, and if it is indeed the deadbolt itself you will need to replace that. **Q: Is there any solution to be able to use with 5 ghz wifi?** A: Issue is only with those using mesh wifi systems, which use the same ssid for both 2.4 and 5GHz. 5GHz fades at distance before 2.4GHz. The best solution I've found is to simply walk far enough away from wifi that 5Ghz fades and the app (phone) is automatically switched to 2.4GHz. It usually takes about 20-30 yards to be out of 5GHz range and the phone will only see 2.4GHz and setup goes smoothly. Note: you only need to do this during initial setup. Then it works seamlessly. This technique works with smart switches too. **Q: Is there an optinon for key on both sides, so that a perp cannot just break window and reach around to unlock door?** A: If someone breaks a window to open the lock, the lock will notify you it has been unlocked manually. Any time one of these locks is unlocked, either manually from the inside or the outside, or with the August App or using HomeKit, my watch buzzes me, and my phone gets an alert as well. I'm using my Apple Watch for sleep tracking now, so I wear it while I'm sleeping. If someone unlocks a lock, I'll know. **Q: Is this compatible with kwikset downtown single cylinder deadbolt?** A: Yes, most of the Kwikset single cylinder deadbolts work fine. I had an old Kwikset lock and it worked fine with my August smart locks of the 2nd and now 4th generations. I have bought one and now working perfectly. by the way August team said I cant do it on two cylinders. But i have done it. very bad support from August team. Updating review after 5 months use- Do not buy this- have Wi-Fi issues and you will have to change batteries two times a month- and battery type is cr123-. Expensive and difficult to find.
